Reign Forest
- As Sessler requested, I made a jungle map. I tested it once, and it was very long. Very enjoyable 2 1/2 hours, though. I'm still testing this one to see if anything needs changes. Only thing that might need to be changed is resources - they don't last long enough to outlast the entire game.
AcidReign. Watch out Korean superiors, here I come
Hell Yeah!
My next StarCraft play time will be on this baby.
I'll let you know how it goes.
And...Alex man.
If I can get by B.net to work.
Me, siaynaq and you and maybe others could play.
Them koreans are crazy, just youtube it.
Freakin insane.
Okay I didnt get another chance to try Chokepoint.
But I woke up pretty early and I tried out Corspeyard.
And it was really impressive.
The map itself was really cool, and I really cant say about any changes.
I was too busy playing.
I played zerg again.
Protoss on the left.
Terran on top.
Another Zerg to the right.
me on bottom.
I rushed protoss being my biggest threat imo.
The way the map was designed..I easily sweeped from under their base.
And ALL of their probes were exposed and right in the open with the minerals.
I took out all probes, Im guessing there was more then 10-15.
After the zealots took out my first rush,I quickly had another one.
Took the zealots out, destroyed the pylons.
No pylons, no probes.
Eventually took the protoss out.
The rest of the game was a big struggle.
Unfortunatley my base got raped by the terran when I had all of my units dealing with the other zerg.
So it was defenseless.
And I was too quick and careless to set up another base in the middle of the map as I planned.
Other then that it was really fun, and I really liked the whole map all together.
It was a pretty normal game.
Um I just noticed tho, that I had the the bottom right of the map.
And it had 2 ways in only.
And it was really small and tight, and I think that gave me a good advantage of a defense.
I didnt even suggest myself to set up a spot in the middle of the map. Because its so small.
And Youd obviously run into the other player.
Well, I would of.
Actually..It was pretty quick.
I was playing zerg, and were very competetive.
And I was tryign to bring him down asap the whole down.
But putting bigger and bigger rushes to put pressure on him to where he suspects me coming.
And its just eco harrassment. Destroying Depots, SUVs.
I went a 1 on 1 with this against my bro.
Me(zerg) him Terrain.
And I destroyed him.
I didnt expect it to be a space map XD
I like the jungle ones.
Well we pretty much enjoyed it.
Ehh if you want any criticism I'd say that the starting points are to close ot eachother.
But that could mean very fast games if the players are side by side.
It was interesting what you did with the center of the map.
Like how there was 8 bridges to the middle filled with mineral and stuff.
and it was seperated by gaps of deep space.
It played pretty smoothly, nice job!
