ok, that isn't worth it indeed, but it is a shame that I can't join you guys than there's no group of members here that play on a European server? (hmm somehow the grammar in that sentence doesn't feel right )
The only two people I know played was me, but I quit, and FingolfinGR, but he's not been around lately. So sorry, no european help there
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

If you play in Europe, you have to buy an American version of WoW to be able to play on their servers. And you can probably expect some heavy latency due to you being in Europe if you do buy it, plus you'll be shut out from playing with anyone in Europe on that account.
I don't think it's worth it

According to my fellow Russian WoW players, PvP of WoW focuses on equipment a lot more than anything else... That's pretty much the only thing to center on in a PvP RPG process. Unless it's a game that actually requires control skill, such as an FPS or a game like Eve or even Diablo, and WoW is auto-attack, concentrates on selected skill which are written down on paper long ago.
There's a difference there. PvP is usually a bunch of people who do not know each other and have no wish to cooperate, because the defenders will get less honor than the attackers. Thus everyone pretty much charges ahead and tactics get dumped.
Arenas are a different matter though. You have to be 70 to comete, and you have to have a pre-formed team whom you always battle with. With 5 people, that's quite challenging, since you never know what setup your opponents will have, and you can't change gear inside. So you have to play with what you have.

1.) No skill in WoW. Sorry...
2.) People on PvP servers are assholes.
Thank you for that constructive post. I'm sure it will bring great joy towards the greater understanding of MMO's.
WoW requires skill, and I define skill in this case as being able to perform complex procedures with good results. With that said, does it take skill to kill 10 Starving Dire Wolves for the quest NPC in Duskwood? No.
Does it take skill to solo down King Mukla in Stranglethorn Vale? Yes, most certainly, you have to know your class and it's abilities.
Does it take skill to win the whole Arena Tournament? If not, then I'd really like to see you in a duel against any player who is in the top 1.000 best in the world.

Just remembe to take all the whine threads with a bit of salt. I know myself that reeading a lot of those really causes you to lose interest in WoW and question why you really play it.

I've only played a paladin to lvl 31, and that was a long time ago, so recent buffs/nerfs have probably renderes what little experience I have useless.
I do think I have a pretty good idea of what the paladin is capable of from readin on the forums, watching interviews and seeing them in-game. From my understanding, the paladin can excel the warrior and feral druid when it comes to AoE tanking, and perhaps also tanking undead. However you shouldn't worry about that until lvl 70, before then he can tank any instance.
He also has a lot of survivability options, with different blessings and auras. And he is extremely hard to kill with two invincibility shields, Lay on Hands and heals.
He lacks in the DPS department though, and that's why I think combining him with a rogue is a good combinaton.

well, thasador fancies a rogue, and im going paladin. would that combination work?
How did I know Thasador was going to pick the Rogue?
That combination will most certainly work. The Paladin can heal and the rogue is an excellent damage dealer. Though I'd advise against visiting the rogue forums, from what I understand the rogue community is whining a lot at the moment about rogues uselessness.

A great idea, though unfortunately I can't join you, since I play on the European realms. It was a good decision however to start fresh on a new server.
Regarding what people should play, I'd really leave that up to each individual, because no single class is vital. A feral druid can tank heroics almost as well as a warrior, and a paladin/druid can heal almost as well as a priest. So don't focus too much on what classes to pick. If you do intent do play as a group, make sure you get at least one healer and one tank though
And Anetheron was btw the second ranking Nathrezim after Tichondrius. For a short while after Tichondrius death, he was the leader of all the Dreadlors; however, he was killed at the Battle of Mount Hyjal during Archimonde's ascent. For all you Lore fans out there
