diablo can take alot of time away from just as WoW, but either way, its still their own fault.
It's not about what it can (so can StarCraft), but about what it does, and to what proportions. Certainly more people that play WoW have forgotten their boring real lives and departed into the virtual world than those playing Diablo.
I can jump into a philosophical disscussion here on behalf of how people that live "normally" end up learning their whole life, and then working their ass off the whole life, for the purpose of nothing. If people like MMORPG's (and WoW is just another one of them) play them so much, it means there is something seriously wrong with the motivation of them to do anything else. And it's stupid to blame WoW alone, you can send that towards all MMO's out there, they all take away time.

Graphics are crappy, but what do you want from the damned 3D, lol (for those that don't get it, it's not exactly the style, it's all the choppiness and low-polygons). Since when graphics affected a game, though? Plenty of my favorite games have low graphics...
