Making it a fixed camera would save development time, since they wouldn't have to make them all into 3D objects. However, hoping that it will be enhanced graphics, 3D would be implied, and therefore would just be a waste of design time, if it were to be fixed. I think perhaps a 4 directional camera angle thing would be acceptable.
Meh, I must concede that you make very good points. But there are some cliches that tend to push your buttons. That leads to the idea that not all cliches are bad, but some can turn you away from something. In D2, I never really paid much attention to the plot. I was just into the gameplay, primarily.
Woah, haha, after making that point, I just saw that you said the same exact thing. Looks like we're both on the same page.
A mmo in the diablo universe will be easy to have pvp oriented. 2 factions, Heaven and Hell, even races (Angels/Demons as faction races and Humans to choose faction). That would be in the future tho, since Blizzard has already a mmo that works well and will be supported for about 4 more years at least. After that we'll see ^^
Yes, the Diablo universe does have easy groundwork for a pvp setup, however. Many easy ideas tend to be very cliche and not creative, therefore not fun.
This is the dumbest discussion I have ever seen. Who gives a shit about how the number looks in the title? As far as I'm concerned making a fourth one would probably be beating a dead horse, because Diablo isn't as opened ended, so making a fourth one would probably make the series really gay.
I saved them more then a year ago but due to a hdd crash I lost them unfortunately But.. Diablo IV is going to be a sneaking mission like metal gear. Evil has come to powerfull to fight and humans and hiding. The more monsters you can pass unseen the more experience you gain.
Sounds like bullshit to me. You probably got fooled.
You have no idea of how stupid you sound do you? Warcraft games is plural. As in more than one game. As in it includes more than just WoW. As in Warcraft 3 as well. Pay attention.
Yes, however, MMORPG maintainers have different standards for what is too much. If they make all those things we consider vulgar or profane, or any of that other stuff, prohibited, it could earn an E rating.
I didnt find the info anywhere, Im just assuming that because of wow's success diablo 3 will follow suit.
Careful how you phrase your sentences. When you said that D3 is going to be an MMORPG that is P2P, you were giving people the idea that you actually knew something about it.
And just because WoW is gold, doesn't mean that Blizzard is going to make a fucking duplicate.
Multiplayer games have to have an m rating i think or is it t minimum?
It depends on the content of the game. It is possible to have an E rated MMORPG. It would just have to be very subtle about any sort of violence and have some pussy messages about being a good person or some shit like that.
To upgrade your going to have to change your whole computer to the new PCI-E format it's quite expensive and you would be better off just buying a whole new computer and not eveyone has the liberty.
Computer parts are cheaper if you don't buy them preassembled. Especially from companies like Dell, HP, and especially Alienware. If you don't believe me, try doing the math on any model that does not have exclusive hardware.
By the time the game comes out most people with AGP vid cards could probably get like and agp 6800 or even 7800 from nvidea for cheap.
AGP doesn't have much room for improvement, as opposed to SLI. And ATI and nVidea are already going back to that with Crossfire and Quad SLI technology. Just putting that out there.

Not if your computer isn't amazingly powerful.
I totally agree. Except I think Streets of Rage was a great game, nonetheless.

Wrong. Most MMORPGs are pve based. pvp is not considered a core feature of mmorpgs.
