PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

I'd just like to say that I'm not sure that I like how the item suggestions worked out on the savior page. They're sort of large and obtrusive. If we put them horizontal, it looks a bit better, but setting up the items gets to be a bit more of a pain that way. Another gripe, is in the time It took me to set up the items, i think that I could have made the regular wiki page for the item. Is there another way to do the items that is a bit easier? (I'm a bit of a wiki editing noob so i pretty much copied the info box from the savior, and filled it in with data from arreat summit)
It's important to remember that you don't necessarily have to format it like the savior page. In truth, the item template wasn't originally designed for this, I just figured it could be used like this as well.
The horizontal idea isn't so bad. It's will perhaps be harder to overview, but it could work. You could try it. And the template can accomodate five items in a row, so it shouldn't be that hard.
As for copying over info, I'm afraid there's not an easy way yet. There is a remote chance I could get a program to do it (much like AutoSummit found in the Monster page thread), but I don't know yet.

I guess if the wiki were more complete it would be a bit easier to write, since we could just link to the corresponding pages, but that lacks an element of interactivity. I guess that I just found it kind of cumbersome to write a guide with wiki formatting. I wrote theFrenzy Guide but I think that my inexperience and clunkyness of the wiki show through.
I'd advise against just linking to the item articles, as they contain more items than one. More windows and more confusing.
However I think the article look very good. A little tip is you can rewrite links so they look better.
[[Whirlwind (Diablo II)|Whirlwind]] will appear as Whirlwind. That way you get rid of the useless parenthesis.

It's come to my attention that character builds are one of the things people want to have in the wiki.
Currently there are a few articles on different builds in our wiki, but most of them are surprisingly short and unformatted, and while anyone is free to format their own article as they wish, I suspect a little help might be needed. Editing a wiki isn't necessarily easy, and while there are plenty of options for the savvy user, it can prove to be hard to actually implement changes.
Therefore I've thrown up this thread so that all who have, or plan to, write class builds for the wiki can get help here. I also took the liberty of creating a mock build for this purpose. I give you:
This page seeks to illustrat how a guide could be structured up a bit. It lists stats, skills and gear, coupled with tables and templates to give a clearer picture and an easier to overview the article, as well as shorts pieces of text here and there to explain the reasoning behind the build. It isn't finished yet, but it's practically complete.
However this is not necessarily how a guide has to look, as is illustrated by Seth's very own guide:
Both show that there's plenty of things one can do with a guide given that it is written in a wiki and not in a forum post or similar. So if you have any questions, or even requests, post them here and someone will probably be able to help.
