Yeah, I'm back-reading now. He said it was rubble, which I just assumed meant: statue.
But he also said there are at least three arms, so I guess I'm wrong.
And I know why I missed all that before. That was during high-traffic, or something which was slowing the site down big-time, so I probably stopped trying to follow the thread.
If I remember correctly, the first episode in which we saw the crumbled statue was drawn too early to correlate to a vanished forum member. diablofenatic took his leave of the site late last year, long after that episode was drawn.
And besides, why would a statue in the Town Center be devoted to a member? Unless that member was someone well-known, and had died in RL (this happened on another site of which I am a member. Many of us there know each other in RL, so this person's passing affected us deeply).
But I don't know of that happening in this site's history.
Assuming that isn't the case, a statue would denote, I think, a deep dedication to something that symbolizes the focal-point of the town's existence.
Since Deeha'Blothri is a graphic representation of this forum and its members, and this forum exists, basically, because of our devotion to the Diablo franchise, does it not follow that a statue in the Town Center would be a symbol of the town's devotion, a.k.a Diablo?
That actually makes a great deal of sense, Phrozen, given how in Episode IV mockery and Umaro rave about bringing Lord Diablo back.
I somehow missed all the earlier hubbub, and subsequent contest, about the blob in Town Center, but after Atru pointed it (the blob) out to me yesterday, I've been thinking about it.
And as much as I am loathe to upset Ully further, that gets my vote. The crumbled statue represents a defeated Diablo.
Would that double negative mean that you like the hype?
Both words have a negative connotation, definitely, but that isn't a double negative, in the manner of which you speak.
That's an adjective modified by an adverb.
And NO... I do not like the hype. I've actually considered renouncing my membership to this site in the face of such rampant stupidity regarding the teaser as I've seen here over the last two days.
HaHaHa! That text balloon really messes with your head when you read it right after you wake up -- I keep rubbing my eyes trying to get my vision to clear up.

I'm guessing it's a statue.

I'm guessing the discomfort is causing you to see things.
Don't you have a chair you could use?
Hey now, don't rush 'im. I want my scene to be Quality.
(and no, I'm not the winner of the contest)
The adverb/adjective combo I used is not a double negative in the sense in which you are referring.

Be respectful of his priorities, and cut him some slack.
Hellz yeah.
Not to rush you, Atru, but a new installment would be shiny, especially in the midst of this week's horribly horrendous hype-fest.
Dude... that's cold.
