Might want to ask that at dual-boxing.com forums, but from my experience network is not a problem at all with these type of games - you do need the cpu power to run 4x instances though, either on one or multiple machines.
Also, you will need 4x accounts.
Thanks, I will check out the forum but think it will be far too complex for me... i was thinking just 4 PCS in one room, big table, dominos menu I need to know what bandwidth I would need, I only have 1MB, but can get 5, 10 or 20 - I am guessing that 1 is out, 5 probably not enough but is 20 overkill?
...Apologies if I sounded like I was trying to tell you what to do, just saw a lot of the same questions coming up through the thread
Ok, so heres a different question you maybe able to answer - what bandwidth do I need to run 4 instances of D3 at the same time? And what kind of network would I need - I assume wireless would be out?
P.S. If you're interested in buying or building a new computer, PM me and I'll do my best to help you make an informed purchase, even if you remain as uninformed about computers as before
Fortunately I have been waiting for D3 to buy a new machine so hopefully be able to afford a good one (actually need 4) - I may take you up on your offer when I have priced up something...
My main issue is my broadband, they state broadband, but what speed? There will be 4 of us playing together (me, my wife and my 2 children) on the same link so can you suggest/ recommend what I would need?
I have been waiting for Diablo III so I can get a new PC. I will actually need four (as there are four of me), however my challenge and financial problems are not your concern So my question, is 'recommended' going to give me everything or what is the absolute best system that will give me everything turned on?
Also, what bandwidth do I need? Currently I have a 56K modem - will that be enough or should I look to upgrade, especially as there will be four of us accessing it simultaneously all with everything turned on?
ps. awesome site, excellent casts, my source of Diablo nutrition for months... top job!
