Anyway, despite what was said about the strategic side of Diablo, I still would like to know about the storyline, relations, etc...
They've done that for WoW, or at least started it. Since launch they've had a timeline for all major events, and last year they started working on an encyclopaedia. Unfortunately it hasn't gotten very far yet.
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.

The Arreat Summit hardly has a full coverage though, theres much missing from it.
But much of that is more opinion-based ascpects, such as efective builds and strategies.
But there's no denying that the Arreat Summit is very detailed when compared to other game companies efforts.

sounds like a good idea. so wait im confused, will it b on diablo3.com just as a different link at the top of the page or on a whole different website?
Seeing as I'm the one presenting a suggestion, I have no idea.

I think I may need some aid in using the search engine, becasuse both the word diablo and wiki have been used so frequently on this board that my searches give me back pretty much every thread in this forum
But how would that be a technical problem? I'm no master programmer, but couldn't the site be independant of the layot/programming/whatever is a problem and still act as a pat of this site?

So looking through the web lately I've noticed that much game information is starting to get accumulated in Wiki's rather than submitted files or the like. The three prime examples that I've used myself are these:
With the rise of Wikipedia I guess it is only natural to see other such sites coming onto the net but in more specialized fields. So I'm thinking, should we have such a wiki here when a lot of information starts to crop up regarding D3 (which could be years from now, mind you)?
The obvious advantage is that it makes a lot of information that would otherwise require a lot of work to put up easily accessible and changeable by any member, allowing for fast updates and information distribution.
Myself, I think a solution such as this would be the most preferable for us to choose, especially since it will be easier for Umaro to manage. Instead of him having to make new pages that need to contain heaps of information (classes, areas, skills, monsters, items, guides, statistics, speculations and whatever else you can come up with) the users here can all easily contribute and update all the sections individually. WoWWiki currently has more than 30.000 articles, imagine the work to put down all of that with regular means

Although WoW is an MMO, I can see a thing similar to this coming for the next Diablo/Starcraft title.
