It's size is 500x100. When its in .psd its file size is 456 kb. When i put it into .Bmp it goes down to 146 kb. How i save a .jpeg?

I'll Try making smaller. With photoshop how do i change the size without making the image over again?

Hi, I just Photoshopped a Signature I was hopeing to get to work but I guess it needs less KB's on it. Was wondering if anyone knew what I could do about it? Any advise will be much appreciated. Here is the image.
