and who says everything must nessesarily attack you? their could be neutral creatures that if prevoked, would attack. but u cant make d3 strictly hack and slash or else the game would be repetitive, the hack and slash genre is very tricky. i love champions of norrath, but it gets boring, no matter what act im in its just kill, take money, do quests.
they need to keep d3 to its roots, but improve the fighting system a bit, and also change some things as well as add quite a few new features.
alot of games have time affected scenarios and settings. why not the next diablo. the game was good the way it was, but this would be one of the greatest improvements for it. it would make it more fun than ever.
think of a diablo mmorpg. a diablo world of heros and stuff. it would be too much like wow, but it woulda been cool
like u could go into a shaman camp and they would be sleeping. and if a guard spots u and sounds an alarm they all wake up and attack you. night only quests would be interesting, especially if they were assasination style quests.

monsters u only see at night, such as spirits, unless of course in hell.
