I prefer a damage followed by speed in terms of: very slow, fast, normal, etc.
The system, though changed slightly, is still going to be very similar... weapons just won't say slow, fast, normal... They are probably doing this to give weapons a wider and more diverse range of speeds.
yes - for sure same size for Sword and a potion is little unconvincing.
I prefer much D2 inventory look and feel - it give much fun trought the gameplay.
Also - where is SOCKETS inside items ?!
i wana them back - this is one of the most important differences about Diablo and other games.
if there is no sockert, so there is no runewords - imao ....... no no ... do not kill this part of diablo ... i so love this part of the game !
As far as everything taking up the same space in the inventory. Look I don't know about you, but my idea of fun in Diablo has nothing to do with rearranging my entire inventory to make room for a long sword or a two handed mace.
In regards to sockets. I don't really care if the item graphic in my inventory shows sockets or not. It's not like you actually saw the runes on your weapons in D2 when you were actually playing. I would however like to see runes or especially rune-words give off some kind of visual cue while you are playing. Example: rune word such and such, your weapon pulsates with the dark glow of demonic power.
I've been playing Diablo for a long, long time now, and one of the things that always bugged me was the constant ports to town to unload loot. I do feel that this system was needed to keep the action going without constant interruptions.
That being said I actually like the bag system in WoW and I don't feel that having that system will really distract from the feeling that I'm playing diablo3 at all.

It wasn't always that way you know

I think your either masochistic, or insane... but to each their own.
Maybe because it's good to have a localized point of reference for a discussion other than scrubbing through the video? wait... are you retarded?
Since there are bag slots in the inventory screen in the screen shot. Yes, this would be a good assumption.
