If you're in singleplayer it pauses, but not on Battle.net. Not very good if you're playing Hardcore
Ahh, and as I have never played a Hardcore character I had no idea. But it makes sense to not allow people to pause the game on you. I hate it when I don't think before asking.
It's actually hard to imagine that in the number of patches released for the game, they would not have listened more to the feedback from players and create a feature where the alt screen can be held down automatically.
It's just that after playing the game for so long, I don't have as much patience trying to get the items I want. I remember on battle.net where I went into a game where every monster dropped hella good stuff. Tons of unique and set items dropping all over the place. That was a long time ago, but it was great.
Maybe you're intrigued by that cow in that little cottage in Stony Field that is animated but just stands there and manages to escape slaughter by the Carvers.
Eh, I've met plenty of people who hate Diablo. They say, "I don't get it. All you do is point and click, point and click." And I felt they made a pretty good point. I love the game personally. And so I will sometimes reply, "Ah, but don't you see? There are hot keys and such."
I hope the targeting reticule for the Ghost's nuclear missile isn't really as big as it shows in the gameplay demo. Otherwise they don't stand a chance of remaining hidden.
