Yeah, I would like to know how Whirlwind in circles would work. I guess you just throw up after a few minutes because the world around you spins so fast? I see a lot of current attacks that just would no longer work, or you wouldn't know what damage they did.
I guess easiest way would be by letting LoN give a reduced amount of damage increase for non-ancient. Like "100% increase damage for every ancient item equipped, non-ancient gives you half amount".
I like that idea... last time I tried LoN build I was missing 3 ancient items, and 2 ancients were actually terrible rolls. Pretty sure that getting 50% for normal legendary items would have made the build more fun.
I think that single player leader boards should only include people that never played in a multi player game... I played all season by myself, and I'm pretty sure I missed out a good chunk of experience from groups, maybe some free items shared with the group... oh, and I play hardcore, but I'm nowhere close to getting into any of the leader-boards.
Maybe they can add an option on character create "single player", which will prevent you from joining multi player games. I know thats not how Blizzard wants the game to be played, but I dont see the point of single player leader boards if all it takes is your group char to play alone for an hour.
Why not just play normal in T6 gear? I feel incredibly powerful walking to a group of monsters and have them fall over just because I'm getting closer...

Loot is rolled when you get the cache. Has been confirmed by blues if i remember correctly.
You want to try it... I farmed bounties with a level 50 DH in normal, opened it with level 70 barb... got barb items... level 50 item! Then I farmed bounties with level 70 barb and let level 50 DH open it... got level 70 DH stuff...
So it looks that cache level and difficulty are locked in when the cache drops. What char opens it seems to make a difference to what comes out of it.
Once there is a PTR and we can caches over we can see if that is true.
I kind of agree, for me the problem is more my cheap gfx card... it can handle my effects fine, but a party of 4 makes it lag if they are all in the same spot. So I had to turn it down a little bit. Would be nice to have an option to turn other players effects off... just keep mine Although, you might then wonder why certain things happen...
This is all nice to know... I got the affix I wanted in the first try, but at the lowest possible value, it took me then 5 tries to get it again at a slightly higher value... and it will probably take me another 25 tries to get it perfect... or one try... this is as bad as gambling... I'd rather pay that lady more to get what I want, and if I want it to get better I have to pay more, and more... Looks to me that the mystic doesnt know what she is doing
My take is:
All your paragon exp across all chars is added up into the new number.
So if you have 5x P20 you get a certain amount of exp. Due to the non-linear nature of the paragon system 5x P20 is not P100. It is more like P40. So your 5x P100 are not going to be a new P500 with 500 points... more like P200 or even less. And we all know how long it takes to get there. Even if there is no P-limit, its not going to be easy to get to P999 (unless you are a bot).
IMHO a game lobby where you can create a game with a few parameters would solve all this... just let us set flags, like dps range, only one player per class, plvl.... and then only show the games where we are welcome. Current matchmaking is not very helpful. I'd like to see who is in a game before I join.
Doesn't that just create 20 items of each type which are essentially the same except for the name and how they look? Ok, a few items have some special features, but they are not the kind of killer features.
how much exp could one gain from this? So much that it makes a difference, like enough to PLVL really fast? (I dont play WD, so I dont even know how often you can spawn to make exp)... I noticed an increase in HC, lots of WD around the last days, now I know why
What I would like to see is that monster actually drop items they "could" wear... I still cant understand how a ghost can drop an armor, or a monster that attacks me with a spear to drop a bow... let him drop a spear... I know there are a lot of monsters where nothing makes sense to drop, because we're are humans and they are monsters and we dont have much in common...

It would also be nice if class specific items would not have other classes stats. I know they all add a little value to your sheet, but a wand with +200 str is crap.
I play in EU at night time (3am-6am), and weekdays you are usually alone. It got worse after all the MP level public games added even more diversity. Right now it seems MP 3/4 act 3 are the only games that attract people.
Now I can only hope that all the console people can play online with. But then you can probably not chat with them because they have no keyboard...
