228 legendary items seems too small of a number???
Yup, it's also what I think. Bashiok stated a while back that the items listed on the website were only representing a small part of the whole items but now, 8 months after the items pages were added, we're told that there are in fact only about 11 Legendary more. In 1-2 months, we will only be farming inferno lvl61-63 mobs and there is only like 1 lvl60 Legendary for each piece of gear beside amulets and rings. Sounds like a joke to me.
You both sound new to diablo...
google 'rare diadem' (take a stroll down the shopping lane and compare their prices to unique helms while you are at it, turns out that just because something is 'unique' or now 'legendary' doesn't mean it is the only viable piece or even close to the best [see. rare diadem])
Since legendarys have fixed affixes finding a 'perfect' unique is no longer an option, but finding a perfect rare is. So prepare for legendary gear just being something you equip while you hunt for rares.
Yea Arciks maybe you should do some research on what the Boubouille transfer of power means, take a trip to mmoc and realize he/she never had to run through Paris nude. Also your firm grasp on the english language means you probably aren't providing blizzard with good tickets anyway so bragging about taking a slot that could be used by someone who isn't useless is pretty hilarious.
Ah, freakin' go away you idiot if you can't read anything else that was posted before you. And your are completely ignorant if you think online is such a huge majority of the community.

Apple has finally acknowledged that spyware and viruses are a threat for Mac OS X, as well as the latest operating system in the works, Snow Leopard. Snow Leopard will be adding new technology to help prevent against attacks such as sandboxing and anti-phishing features in Safari. This, however, is not a 100% solution to protect against malware.

I'm not contradicting this point, all I am saying is that I think their marketing department did a pathetic job. By announcing Diablo 3 so early in its development cycle, and now stating that it will be released behind WOW Cataclysm and Starcraft 2, they are pissing their fans off.
no they aren't
it has actually amused me at the QQ (and how off base it all is)
I hope they delay it another 10 years just to see everyone continue to bitch and make empty threats

get a newer quote when they said they will implement bnet like sc2 is
sc2 is doing it by making an offline guest mode where you can't get achievements and etc
the person in charge of the new bnet is from xbox live, not from carebear island
also game isn't out yet, so how can you say it is false?
diablo 3 is meant for online play, it will follow sc2's footsteps (like being online even when you are doing the single player campaign)
you will create games, if you want to be by yourself, you make a game with max players 1, but you are still online
I know you and the other spers are scared of feeling inferior to people who aren't bad at games, but itsok
I'll try to not lol at you guys too much in d3 chat
