back on topic, most of the diablo costumes were kind of lackluster in my opinion, yes including tyrael. The best one was the last female demon hunter, but even her costume just seems underwhelming compared to the diablo art.
I'd be one that posted a banana reference lol. Went through about 5 pages of not seeing one, and just didn't have the patience to go through 75 pages to see if the idea was used or not. Either way, posted one up for the hell of it. But over 1k comments in what, a day and a half? yea not holding my breath. Think I've given up on the idea of actually playing d3 till release, or time available after school. GG on new release date going to be right when I start international schooling =|
Sucks they pushed it back, and what crappy timing to announce it. Right when they release closed beta, "Welcome to D3!! Enjoy the beta, you'll be here for a while." Starting intensive schooling in February, no D3 for me.
The only reason mana isn't as popular as the others is because, well, it's old news lol. We have all been using mana since D1, so there isn't anything new to it other than a bit more polished looking. Based on classes, witch doctor looks hella fun!
Back on topic, For me complete looks alone, would have to be arcane. Looks like the 4th of july in that little ball with all the sparkles, pretty awesome.
Overall, would have to be hatred/discipline. The look of it is great with the contrast of warm and cool colors, and I love the idea that you have to manage aggressive and defensive skill separately. Still haven't gotten to see enough monk play to figure spirit out. The one short clip I saw, I never saw the spirit diminish. Don't even know if the guy was using spirit skills or not.
Way too early to tell in my opinion. And for all we know, it is possible they tweaked dmg or stats to make sure people play through the act without worrying about dying. Probably not, but you never know at this stage.
From what I have seen so far, the wizard and monk seemed to be tearing through mobs the fastest. But again, were talking all classes below lvl 10, only at most an hour into the game. Not much to compare at this stage except, which classes start out with the better 2-3 skills.
It's funny because when I first saw classes and video's, I knew I was gonna play monk. Then they released Demon Hunter and video's, I knew I made up my mind and was gonna play Dh first. Now, after seeing some closed beta stream of Wizard......CRAP it looks so fun! I can't decide now, too much awesomeness.
Definitely the art book. Love the diablo art and the rough ideas before being polished into what you see in the game. Also the making of dvd could be pretty cool depending on what they show in it
It's a nice piece, but still lacking imo for 1 million likes. And to be honest, I think this was just thrown out to hopefully shut people up. The wallpapers they originally released were the 1 million prize, but too many people complained. So they threw out this image, hoping it would satisfy. They even state it's not a concept, it has nothing to do with the game, other than being a nice piece of fan art.
I'm not sure if anyone else is having this issue, but on the home page of Diablo fans, the recent blue posts on the right hand side hasn't updated for quite a while for me. This is currently what it's showing for me:
