My wizard build that maximizes frost damage. Higher damage to frozen/chilled target passives + frost nova + Ice Armor = lots of chilled targets for (frost) meteor and Blizzard.
Disintegrate for frost resist baddies and electrocute as the AP generator.
With the recent changes to the way runes work, theres NO reason to have more than one of each class because switching all your skills and runes to another set up takes as much time as switching to another character, and you dont even have to swap gear or anything.
With no build commitment no one will have a frost wizard and a fire wizard and an arcane wizard they will have ONE wizard that can do everything. That was one of the things I loved about D2 and the franchise as a whole was that I could have two level 90 paladins and they could be INCREDIBLY different on stat preferences on gear on skill points on stat allocation etc and it made it feel like there were a lot of unique experiences to be had with each class.
Some may think I'm trolling or being sarcastic but I'm not.
There are those out there that might play (even a tiny bit of) RP and have their character names and roles. A wizard named OMGFostyLOL won't swap spells for arcane, fire, or lightning. Same for the other chars.
I personally have a list of names I want to use and if that means I have to use multiple characters that can all do the same thing so be it. Maybe one day I feel like using Frosty. But another day I want to use Enfuego.
TLDR: Bottom line, its a game and you can do what you want with it. If you only want 5 character slots, cool beans. If you want to use all 10, hey what do ya know that's what they're there for!

I don't think there is even such a thing as 'too op' with the way this game is designed now.

My other passives increase damage and AP.
I want my wizard to be a female (a la d2)... don't know what her name will be...
