Well to be fair Blizzard did say way in advance gear will come from elite champions as well as bosses, so I'd say just kill the bosses because they are fun rather than just loot pinatas. Or just farm 5NV/Elites>Treasure Goblins.
On topic I rather enjoy the playstyle of the Monk. So what if I get creamed in Act II/III. Lol.

Not a barb, monk here. I just killed Magda last earlier this week. Find a good DH buddy to carry you kill everything for you. Working for me so far. xD

I have been spending millions of gold to theory craft what is that best and most efficient way to farm Act 1 Inferno quickly, and at low costs.
I will agree this method works well for a lot of rare packs/elites for Act I. Nice job. I used a similar build (I called it my Kite build or Wave/Pillar kite build depending on how i felt at the moment).
I'm sure people will bitch about it not being Act II+ worthy, but just ignore them, because I've found this build is nearly effective enough in Act II. At least with another ranged dps I'd build a little tankier, trying my best to keep shit off my DH buddy. But the guide is good enough for what it's supposed to do.
GLHF, +1

Chances are, a higher ilvl wep with higher damage will have better(More) stats than your current one
Sometimes.
I guess damage is just more important if you're doing inferno solo..

I farmed a boss in WoW for 8 months (in ICC) I never ever saw that specific item. RNG is RNG, exists in both games. And I like em both.
Dat DBW.
@OP I like both games still play both (mostly WoW only when D3 is down for whatever reason xD ). I'll agree with you mostly, but I still consider D2 and D3 similar enough as far as gameplay and storyline. Just my opinion, no big deal.
