Man, if I end up playing this I'll have to keep it buried in the closet. It's pretty corny admitting to friends I know how to play M:TG, playing a Warcraft CCG might be the dorkiest thing I ever do.
I'd put money on the Xpac having more content we expected from release, rehashed from D2 or "borrowed" from PoE than brand new stuff we never saw coming.
Man, I was really excited for a second assuming they were going to let us jump through WP's across acts like D2... now I realize they probably just mean if you kill Azmodon with 5 stacks you could farm act 4 with the same 5 stacks.... which I can't see anyone bothering with regardless.
It's longer, but it's easier- at least normal. Granted I'm not even through act 2 but I haven't hit a roadblock yet. No deaths. Diablo 2 required you to at least slow down and grind areas instead of plowing through content linearly. Everything I've seen you can zerg normal solo and it doesn't take much for an organized 4 man to finish just about everything pre-inferno
Not married, but been with the same gal for 7 years now, lived together 5. She doesn't play games outside of Wii sports at Xmas, but I was a WoW raider when we were dating so she understands. She's got hobbies, as long as I don't procrastinate from real life duties she tolerates my hobby/addiction.
Just be realistic, playing a game more than 2 hours a day is a privilege, not a right when you're married
Having to watch a health globe instead of the game because there's no mitigation just insane spike damage.
No CD on health pots/rejuvs
Stamina
Picking up gold
Holding down -alt
Needing a PHD in mathematics to find optimal min/maxing gear setups (obviously exaggerating, but I hate how hidden all those mechanics actually were; breakpoints, ilvl crafting, diminishing returns- really hope most of that crap is gone).
No shared stash.

The game supports widescreen aspect ratios, not really related to resolutions in the point you're trying to make. I can play widescreen at 1280 x 720, all the way up to 2550 x 1440 on my 27" iMac, but in either case I'd see the same game area in roughly the same way. The resolution just gets sharper.
Pretty sure any non-widescreen monitor can still display 16:9 aspect ratios, you'll just get a letterbox effect on the top/bottom.
D2 didn't support widescreen, but it seems Blizzard has changed their tune.
If you think this is an exploit check out some of the guys running eyefinity.
Yep, wizard got some windy looking offensive shield looking thing and Monk got the ability where he swings his bo staff around like a propeller and runs through mobs.
Not sure if WD or DH got anything new to try out.
