Hi all.

Just after some advice on my WitchDoctor build, the build plays great to me i really enjoy this spec, but im wondering if there is anything gear wise i need to change.

I recently came into posession of a Skorn. Its a 24k damage upgrade but i would loose the set bonus from loosing the offhand, I have the ring for the zunimassa set so i can swap it back but im enjoying the bonus from the other rings. My main concern is keeping mana at a workable rate, is having that set for the regen required for MP10? Im playing at about mp4-6 depending on if i have mates playing with me or if i just feel like a casual grind or if i want a challenge. So is a 2hander better or am i best of sticking with an offhand? The skorn is +24k damage but no mana return on it so im wondering whats the best way to go.

Skorn stats:
1319.9 dps, 1086 - 1553 damage 1.00 attacks per second.
+258 minimum damage
+328 maximum damage
+42% damage
+131 strength
+493 Intelligence
+Critical hit damage increased by 198%
+98.2% chance to inflict bleed for 6447-8243 damage over 5 seconds.
+Critical hit damage increased by 70% gem

I love the bear build so is high attack speed a manditory or should i focus on some stat besides Int and resist all?

Any help, pointers and general advice would be greatly appreciated.

http://us.battle.net...TdQP!VWU!bccZZa A zombie bears build. - This build i felt i had to be way too close all the damn time. Wasnt sure the best way to use this one. Maybe i was under geared.

Another was simular to the second one but pet orientated, so it dropped haunt for Zombie dogs and put in Fierce Loyalty passive.

@ Weapon upgrade, Ill look into it, only got 70k gold so might have to hit hell and farm up some $$$$

In regards to Resist all gear, how much resistance is acceptable??

In regards to DPS whats the best way to calculate that?

Im after as much feedback as i can get in regards to what specs will work with what I have, what should I be aiming for in regards to stats and any other helpfull info.

When playing through Hell I was always changing my build to find what works and what doesnt, and for the most part i got through OK. What I am finding now is what did work clearly does not and elite mob packs are usually a massive issue.

Im open to trying new builds so please fire away I just want to improve and hopefully help others.

Works well for me i really enjoy it. When i get mobbed i tend to pop confusion, then fetish army then spam out the acid rain. Fun build just wanted to share, ill proli look at something new for act 3/4 of hell but atm its working great.

Thats from the achievements link at news on the home page. Granted there are proli a few ways to do it i hope having more than 4 dogs is one of them. But if there is a cap at 4 then so be it and i will still enjoy playing the WD no less. I did love that interview, was very cool .

It's irritating that you would reward people in the closed beta for helping you test the game and then you would turn around and give nothing to the open beta testers that helped you to stress test the servers. They deserve something as well.

After getting f*cked over with WOTLK having a USA first roll out, i was 24 hrs behind in trying to start for feats of strength. IMO this is fine just accept it and move on. I got one im fine with it, my mates didnt get an invite and to quote them "is anyone gunna give a stuff a week later"

so in summary I got mine i think thats damages for the mental anguish WOTLK caused all aussies :-)

It's not an MMO where you have tons of places to quest at one time and you may not find the most efficient way to level up. You click on monsters to kill them. Gather more powerful equipment. Kill more powerful monsters. It's really a pretty simple concept. Not sure why people would need a levelling guide for a Diablo game.

The ONLY thing I could think of that a guide may be handy would be any out of the way journals that give xp when you pick them up or telling when to go back to Leah's room or Cain's Hut to collect the next installment so you dont miss any (if thats possible) besides that I agree with the quests above, Do quests and kill stuff.

Maybe then just a small edit note saying does not improve drop frequency just drop quality.

Touchy much? There is good balance mate, no need to fubar it. When i have legendary items in my stash for my soon to be 60 characters then ill seriously consider your opinion on it.
