My only thought is that they're intentionally making crafted legendaries bad because they know there are a lot of stockpiled brimstones and they don't want to make good new crafted legendaries that people could pop 100 of on the first day. However, that doesnt really hold water if some of them have gotten buffed and others, like Griswold's or Ruinstoke or the Robes, remain terrible. I just have to hope against the evidence present that Blizzard isn't going to leave legendary crafting plans worthless.
Well thats exactly it.. Venomhusk for example (the ilvl 61 legendary bow) got a nice buff. But some of the other ilvl 61 craftable legendary weapons arent really showing anything.
Very interesting. It seems that the crafted legendaries still suck:
Griswolds masterpiece:
+150 str
+6IAS
Ilvl 61
Ruinstoke:
+35% ED
ilvl61
sucks for ppl who bought those plans.
Im thinking they just arent updated..they have no +dmg modifiers added to them yet either.
Both of the two weapons there are showing as correct now. They do not have a +min/max damage (according to the files at least)
I'm still thinking they can't shaft a griswolds and earthshaker, and make a venomhusk and entire set of weapons entirely awesome. Nobody will craft griswolds or earthshaker, instead invest into the worthwhile legendarys.. I don't really care tbh I bought all legendary weapon plans when they where still cheap as piss. Scored a hallowed armaments set for 1mil :P. So we'll see.
Any chance they is going to be extra data to datamine molster? or is this really it. Would be a weird choice from blizz if it is.
Im thinking the same thing.
As it stands, you would be better off crafting an ilvl 62 6 prop weapon than you would be crafting Griswolds Masterpiece or a Blood-Magic Blade for example. However, the cost of crafting an ilvl 62 vs. a legendary right now is ridiculous. Just doesnt make sense for them to buff nearly every other useless legendary...but then leave some of these crafted ones on the side and still useless.
The only explanation I can think of is that they decided that with the dps boost the ilvl 61's and 62's were already getting that these weapons would already be powerful....??
But even still it doesnt make sense for them to leave Griswolds Masterpiece; the ilvl 61 legendary sword.. weaker than the Skycutter which is the ilvl60 legendary sword.
plans and plan materials may become extremely valuable. i think you better wait patch
They are already valuable and I would make a profit selling now... Though it seems they keep dropping and dropping as people keep undercutting each other...
really wish they would stop that and realize that they should just list for same price and profit more..lol
Will they spike in value again when patch hits? Or has the datamining of this site ruined the hype/surprise that normally causes a spike?
Awesome thanks. The +dmg modifiers is what I was most curious about seeing as how some of the crafted legendary weapons such as blood-magic blade and griswolds masterpiece have quite low dps at the moment (lower than in game guide on blizz website). With Blizz stating that many legendaries getting a buff (ontop of the buff to 61 and 62 weapons already), I was expecting a little bit more out of these.
Exactly. Each tooltip miss additional mini-max dmg and elemental dmg. Just compare weapons shown as examples in recent official Legendaries blog to yesterdays tooltips.
Never considered doing this. Good idea.
However, it still seems as though some of the crafted legendaries are not getting the buff that alot of people were expecting/hoping for.
Even after patch, you will need tens of millions and a lot of luck to craft decent legendary.
Oh I definitely plan on selling it.. but im wondering what the best plan of action is.
Do I sell now at prices that have recently plummeted no doubt as a result of seeing that the blood-magic dagger isnt getting a massive buff and is in fact listed at a lower dps for some reason....or... do i hold onto them now and hope that hype causes another price/hype spike when the patch drops and sell them right after patch hits?
Was just looking over the datamined tooltips and couldnt help but notice that the dps on some of the crafted legendary weapons seems awfully low. I mean, they said they were buffing alot of the legendaries (stat wise and bumping to ilvl63) and at least making the ilvl 61's and 62's be able to spawn with high dps.
However.. the dps on the blood-magic dagger shown in the tooltip is only 156. This is lower than shown in the current game guide? Same goes for Griswolds Masterpiece?
Im holding a bunch of legendary crafting plans at the moment..A few days ago blood-magic dagger plans were selling for an average of over 100mil. Then dropped to around 50mil (im assuming because of this site releasing info). Trying to figure out what I should do...

Any word on this?
