I think people aren't understanding each other here. MHM's video is getting hate not because he's joining Rift it Forward games, but that he is actively trying to avoid having to put any effort in whatsoever to get rewards, thus "leeching". This was said a few times before but everyone chose to just kind of argue about the semantics and morality of Rift it Forward.
On the other hand, it was also mentioned that a community that does this sort of thing is just asking to be exploited. However, I think that is a poor excuse to justify leeching behavior, which is what most people are up in arms about, imo. It only harms the community that in my opinion is doing a cool thing when you actively try to dodge responsibility of contributing.
The digital edition restrictions seem to punish regular people more than anything (not surprising), as botters can just as easily use compromised accounts.
I'd say the ones who are trolling are people saying 15/45 $
Apparently you didn't see people selling horadric hamburgers and leoric's crowns for 250$
There is a big difference between asking that price for an item, and selling an item at that price.
And if you want to reference Kripp, I am almost 100% positive all of his $250 sales were his fans that watch his stream all the time, knowing exactly what item to look for and buying it out to donate to him.
Wall of Zombies with 765% weapon damage rune
Soul Harvest(massive intelligence buff)
Big Bad Voodoo with 30% damage rune
Mass Confusion with 20% damage rune
Zombie dogs(to sac)
Sacrifice with 5% damage per dog rune(20% total)
Pierce the Veil for 20% more damage
So total, 90% increased damage +650 intelligence(which is another 650% increased damage) modifying a 765% weapon damage spell. So a 1000 damage weapon does 76,500 damage with just Wall. increase that by total intelligence(with the Soul buff, I'd have to take a guess at around 2200-2500 intelligence, so 2200% to 2500%) and then 90%. Adds up fast.
I'm kinda new to Witch Doctor, but Soul Harvest's intelligence buff is dependent on how many enemies there are (a max of five), the most int he could get from the Butcher is 130.
Irrelevant. How many hours you've clocked has nothing to do with his statement.
He tells me to "face it, Diablo 3 is a mediocre game", yet I profoundly disagree with him on the terms that I have clocked so many hours of enjoyment into the game. I don't think it's irrelevant at all.
Unfortunately there's a lot of fanboys in denial (I laugh when I say this out loud in my head :D) willing to defend Blizzard till the end. They won't listen to any criticism whatsoever, valid or not. So they invented the word 'whine' and began to use that whenever someone said the slightest bad thing about D3. Retarded.
I don't think it's fanboys. I think the problem is the so called "whiners" and haters are refusing to acknowledge anything other than their opinion that the game is terrible. When in fact, there are millions who love the game. There are those of you who do nothing but go on forums all day and complain about how bad the game is, despite some of you sinking 60-100+ hours into it, and complain about how bad a company Blizzard is. Don't get me wrong, I hate Blizzard/Activision as a company just as much as the next guy, but shit, I got better things to do than tell people who don't give a shit why I think this game is going to fail (which it isn't).
You just need to get it through your head that people like Diablo 3. I acknowledge that some of you don't like it. I acknowledge some of you hate it so much that you are probably writing death threats to Jay Wilson as I type this. But the worst thing you can do is be arrogant and make an ass of yourself saying "diablo 3 is the worst game ever FACT YOU FANBOYS".
or something

Art.
Usually players complain about barbs being the worst class in the game, so thanks for changing things up!

For the record, I don't think they'll ban over a pixel shader.

Right, my 130+ hours of enjoyment are a complete lie.
You know what. You should face it. You're a mediocre game. I give you a 4.0. Out of 10. You were a disappointment, InfidelMan.
Those are pretty good scores, you know?
