I've not played much with my barb in ros either, but managed to find a firebuild I enjoy. You are at about my gear-level, so maybe this will work for you as well.
Not amazing gear, but can do t1-t2 solo at least. Leap and stomp is used pretty much on cd for max rage generation. While whirlwinding, i can pretty much keep it going forever, thanks to unforgiven, superstition and cindercoat.

I can see what you see not. Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone. Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be. Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind. Cast down into the Halls of the Blind
More items to support other elementals is also a must in my book. Wizard got a few frost items that can work, but fire is so much better for most classes.
The changes to runes is long overdue. I found a decent azurewrath with strength for my barb and wanted to make a frostrelated build, but there are NONE thats even remotely good. Only decent frostskill for barb is avalanche, and its still worse than the fire one. WD is stuck in the same position as well. Wizard is maybe the only class that can make alle elements work somehow.
And while you are at it, why is there even 1h flails? Why would anyone not use a 2h as crusader? Give me a 2h flail with + holydmg please.

Yup. Im using a grenade spec, but i just hate how bombardment feels. With fast moving targets, its just useless. Much prefer clusterrocket with the stun grenades attaced as my spender.

its alot faster. I lvled a dh through act1-4 and it was abit the same as a full normal run is on live, and I ended up at lvl 48 i think it was. I started on normal and gradually increased the difficulty as i got gear. If I increased it earlier (which im sure i could have), I would be close to lvl 60 upon killing diablo.
Thats when i decided to not bothering to lvl anymore, and just do a few odd achievements etc. Its so much faster, more fun, and better gear in ptr

I tried a firebuild on my wiz, and it was alot of fun. Arcaneorb with the fire rune on it was particulary entertaining, also the new meteor rune was fun. Also noticed alot of items drop with +x% to fire dmg etc, or +x% to a certain skill. Gives me high hopes on the viability on niche builds as well.
Found a wand with 20% chance to cast a frostnova on enemies killed by cold dmg. I like the potential this brings. Cant wait to get back from work and try more builds out

And yet it's still the generic "hard" "expert" and "master" when we've already got a perfectly good "nightmare" "hell" "inferno" setup that fits the Diablo theme. Why do they feel the need to change that?!
/nerdrage
Note that its not the same setup as now. You dont need to beat 1 difficulty to go to the next. Appearantly you can play any difficulty whenever you want, and change whenever you want, just like TL2 did. Seems like a good idea to me

Not by a LOT, but by enough that I suspect people like the OP will feel the need to create another thread on it.
Well, any change ever to anything in a blizzard game summons hordes of crying whiners. Played WoW for 7 years, watching the game slowly plummet because of it.
Now lets hope they actually make the difficulty in gameplay and not just numbers as it is now. I got high hopes for RoS, so dont let me down, Blizzard.

The game will be balanced towards us not ever needing an auction house, I think.
Ha, I think this sentence sums up everything better than my walls of text... right now the game is balanced around the existence of AH. With the AH gone, this will change - obviously. ;-) +1
This is THE reason its a great thing that AH will be gone. Just look at the way loot is on the console version. It will be like that, only alot better.

im so happy about this. Finally im not stuck farming gold to buy upgrades and getting drops that wont sell since they are not in the 0.00001% top tier of items with perfect rolls. I never played the AH much, and after i stopped playing for a while, im now screwed since I cant afford good upgrades, and gold is so slow since w/e I find doesnt even sell for 100k.
Im tempted to start fresh in the expansion, just disenchant and vendor all my gear, delete the heroes and start all over with the crusader.

2 tips however.
1: always post a link to the build as well. (as others have said)
2: When you record a video, use a pop-shield for your mic.
Didnt play the ptr so I got no idea if difficulty plays into the droprate.

Also, changing weaponthrow to a furygenerator = brilliant.
