People like to complain about things when they go wrong, but when things go right, it's as if nothing happened. What's up with that?
As we all know, Diablo is a wonderful franchise, and Blizzard is the best in gaming. Being the best means they've got seriously high standards for themselves, and everybody else has impossibly high standards for them as well.
Bashiok, you've done a fantastic job repping Blizzard these past months, and I'm sure you'll continue to do the best you can. You get little to no credit for the work you do, and when something goes wrong, you're the one that feels the pain. So, everybody, give a rou fnd of applauseor Blizzard's personal herald!
There is no concrete evidence to suggest Auriel is Lilith's mother. Are people not listening to me. There is evidence to support the theory that Mephisto and Auriel have a relationship of sorts. That's all. but it is because of this, that people substitute Auriel in place of the unknown female that is Lilith's and possible Lucion's too, mother. Such A theory, is only speculated.
The facts only suggest Auriel at some point garnered the affections of Mephisto. Mephisto has two children, mother currently unknown. But as Mephisto is male, and assumed that he cannot reproduce asexually (i.e by himself) that a female is required. And as he is said to have an interest or a fondness for Auriel, that Auriel is assumed by some, not all, to be the mother of his children.
i'm listening, and i understand that there's no concrete evidence, only speculation. i'm just trying to explain why i think that the idea that Auriel is the mother is illogical. it very well could be Auriel, though i personally doubt it is.
Bul-Kathos, a first-gen nephalem, was born of a different pairing of angel and demon, which leaves me to believe that the offspring of a demon and an angel are always nephalem/edyrem. thus, i don't see how Auriel could be Lillith's mother, and also that Andariel's father must be a demon. these are my suspicions.
Umm... a better looking Baal.
(not looking like and Uber feminine drag queen)
Wtf?
Diablo was trapped within the Wanderer's body.. Diablo eventually took over and the Wanderer's body transformed into Diablo and his cloak dropped to the ground.
I believe this was in Tal Rasha's tomb when the three met up with each other in one of the cinematics.
So, now you know what happened to the Wanderer's body.
Play the game.. and watch for yourself. lol
well, my main point is that not only is Diablo's soulstone gone (this was confirmed in the Lore thread), but that we killed Diablo. in Hell. he turned to dust. we didn't send him "back to Hell", as he was already in Hell when we killed him in D2. he turned to dust. i think this is the point where he needs to be resurrected. if he doesn't need to be rezzed, what the hell happened to him?
how could Lillith's mother be an angel? IIRC, the offspring of an angel and a demon is an edyrem, which, over time, became mortals. i cite the case of Rathma, being the offspring of Lillith and Inarius. also, doesn't that make Rathma the brother of Andariel?
first off, i'd just like to know what exactly has happened to Diablo at this point in the series. we killed him in the first game, then apparently he retreated back into his soulstone, leaving Prince Albrecht. the game assumes you were the warrior (what happens to the other two, anyway?) and you shove the soulstone into your forehead. enter D2. This time, we go to hell and kill the dude. this time he turns to dust. where's the Wanderer's body/Diablo's soulstone?
anyway, i think that both Azmodan and Belial should be in the game. these guys are total badasses. together, they amassed a huge demon army to overthrow the Prime Evils and kick them outta Hell! i really don't see how you could have one without the other.
yeah, we know about that, but we don't have any money to buy it. mostly it's just a time suck to make it, because we have two weeks till school is back in session. also, the review isn't too great.
i'm not sure what's wrong, but both of the Exocet download as .php files for me. and they're both 22.8 KB. i tried changing the file extensions to various things, but nothing works.
due to the combination of extreme boredom, Diablo fanboyism, D&D enthusiasm, and way too much free time, myself and two other friends have decided to do an exhaustive conversion of Diablo and Dibalo II: Lord of Destruction to Dungeons & Dragons 3.5 edition. for this, we will need exhaustive lists of monster stats, spells, and game mechanics. this is gonna be from the ground up. all we know right now is that we are using the characters for their respective games. we have no idea what kind of mechanics we'll use/create to adapt. any ideas, suggestions, and source material would be very useful and greatly appreciated. i'm sure that the Arreat Summit site will be of great use to us, but i don't have any site for the stats for the original Diablo.
it temporarily restricted me from signing on. wtf? why did they do that? and why did it have to be when i was transferring a weapon to a mule, of all times???
on another note, anyone have any updated mule info? such as how long games stay up, etc.
