Update: upon further investigation, and some digging through reddit, it looks like Primal Ancients do NOT gain any additional bonus. Which I guess makes sense.
I was wondering if someone could clarify something for me.
Do Primal Ancients provide any additional benefits percentage wise when it comes to the LoN set bonus? Or do they still only provide an additional %100 dmg and %4 dmg reduction per item?
I know the set text doesn't specify if Primal and non-Primals differ, but I swear I remember reading or hearing something saying Primals receive additional bonuses.
PC UI and content (GRifts) are better by far. Flow of game play would have to go to the console, imo. The game play just seems a lot smoother when playing with a controller, for melee anyway. I don't play ranged, so I can't comment on that aspect.
The rate has been increased since the patch, pretty obvious. I've done three today.
My guess, its been over tuned and we probably should expect to see it turned down in the near future. I ran rifts for an hour and saw the level three times as well.
It'll be interesting to see if Blizzard takes any action against the streamers who are openly participating in the chest farming exploit. It's one thing to try it out on your own time, but streaming it live to thousands of viewers or posting it to a youtube channel is, well, stupid imo.
I've been playing PTR solely since it was released. So I'm stoked to be able to hop onto the live servers to level some more HC characters in preparation for RoS release.
Since my client still needs 8gb to load I just ask here. Is this current PTR with loot 2.0 or just adjustment to UI and skills/runes? I couldnt find any patch notes for the current PTR patch. Anyone can help out with the changelog?
Not sure how I feel about the new site. Can't quiet put my finger on what it is that has me in a tiffy. Perhaps it's just because i'm not used to it yet.
Anyway, glad to see you guys are working on improving it though!
edit: Perhaps its the size of that avatars that are screwing with me? Is there a way to reduce the size of them?
Not impossible... but potentially time-consuming. I imagine they still have the original 24-bit versions of the 2d assets, and the original models and scripts for the 3d stuff. The cost/benefit would be pretty crappy though. It'd probably cost them, like, 2 day's worth of WoW subs.
Dis. The sad thing, this might be an actual fact.
But seriously, why not, dumb a little money into a diablo 2 reskin? It would help clean up some of the biggest flaws in Diablo 3 and its community right now.
a)No longer could people complain about the game not resembling D2 enough.
b)It would give people a taste of what the Diablo franchise used to be about.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy D3 for what it is. But for some reason I can't shake the feeling that this game is missing something.
I do not like the combat in POE at all!... but I do like the more in depth systems it has outside of the combat.
D3 suffers from a serious lack of depth, mostly in the character customization and end game. These areas in PoE, are superior to D3s, imho. The combat and visual design would have to go to Blizzard, but thats just to be expected when you have a corporation of that magnitude, designing a game.
The lack of depth, in terms of game mechanics though, is baffling. But I have my fingers crossed that someone at Blizzard will wake up and take a long serious look at the core mechanics of the game.
PoE has done a lot of things right, I just wish Blizzard would realize that and start stealing their ideas. 8|
I'll be playing HC on day one. SC just doesn't appeal to me any more. Without that sense of "if i die, i'm dead", the game just isn't enjoyable. I'm I the only one that feels that way about this game now?
Just wanted to post quickly and bring the fact that the HOTS event wings reward wont be live in D3 until next patch a little more obvious.
I know some people over on the official forums have been asking why they haven't received the reward for completing the 15 friend games.
Its not a bug, they probably wont be live until the end of season 10.

Feel free to correct me though.

Split between Monk/Crusader as my favorite. Would be Crusader hands down, but Blizzard missed the mark with the Paladin feel IMO.
Least favorite has to be DH. Something about the way it plays that just doesn't click with me. /shrug
Sounds like a lot of people are having issues with it, including myself.
Just give Blizzard some time. I'm sure they've got a team looking into the 64-bit issue.
That's about anyone on these forums can offer you in regards to 'help'.
Anyway, glad to see you guys are working on improving it though!
