Wow, no increased resolution and no end game content = who gives a shit. Seriously what the hell was the point of saying this is a major patch for the game when all it sounds like they're doing is a few tiny tweaks.
They can take this patch and shove it up their ass. No way in hell this will be worth the wait and no way in hell will it doing anything to bring new life into the game. What a waste of time.
It will most likely be a slot for bracers. I highly doubt they would make us equip one glove at a time, especially considering the boots aren't designed this way.
I would rather pay for one package that costs the same as the original and expansion together because in Diablo II you have a split playerbase between Diablo II and LoD.
Seriously....... if you are one of the people that refuses to buy a Blizzard game expansion then wow......
And the split playerbase with Diablo is hardly worth mentioning. What is it 90% LoD and 10% original Diablo 2?
I made this post in the other Fallen Update thread but since the 2 threads seem evenly split and have yet to be combined, I figured I would post this here as well just so as many people as possible can see what i'm expecting with the overall detail on the models plus design changes to come.

I agree with some that are stating art style is basically the complete oposite direction as the in-game models. That being said, they look pretty bad. However, SCII has gone through this process a bunch and made MASSIVE upgrades to the first models they had in the game.
If these are anything to go by with how Blizzard goes about development these days and this same process happens with Diablo III, then there shouldn't be anything to worry about.
Either way, while not the greatest of updates, am glad to have one and damn surprised they showed anything before Blizzcon.
I have faith Blizzard will overhaul the living hell out of the game as time goes by just like with SCII and that Diablo III will be one of the best games of the decade.
Oh and lol Azmodan, funny bastard:P
Sorry for posting this twice in advance, however I think it will help in calming many people down about the models currently in-game.
