Manner for a stampede build what would you do with this flavor? I was wondering eek that last 1 percent phys dmg or switch it to a socket? Originally rolled the str off of it at someone's suggestion but feel that maybe I should have rolled the IAS instead....regardless this is where I'm at now...suggestions?

Edit: Ignore the bracers if you're looking at the toon as a whole just accidentally logged off with my swap bracers on (have strong arms 20 percent phys 6 percent crit normally in that spot).
About SB damage (Shield Bash) of the crusader, the blocking probability in general will influence the skill damage? or only blocking probability of the shield?
It's total block chance for your character not shield. The tool tip is misleading. This has been confirmed many times but is also easy to test if you want with a helm of rule(sp?)
Golden Flease - Makes it so you can sweep attack to gain wrath. Sweep will give good denfense and lots of dmg to setup hard hitting shield bash
Full Set - Buffed sweep and shield bash
Piro Mirrello - Reduce wrath cost - craft till you get a high block w/ crit
Stack phys dmg + gear in bracer, neck and soj
I'd probably run RoRG and do aughilds bracers and shoulders as I have a good roll on those this would give a significant defense and dmg boost vs elites and in general, seems a no brainer.
Skills:
Primary: Sweep attack - Holy Shock -> Generates wrath and heals (phys dmg)
Secondary: Shield Bash Shield Cross - Hard hitting w/ aoe (Phys dmg)
Skill 1 - Provoke - Hit Me for dmg and block or cleanse for significant healing
Skill 2 - Shield Glare - Divine verdict for dmg or Zealous Glare for wrath
Skill 3 - Phalanx or Bombardment for wrath independent cooldown
Skill 4 - Second wrath independent cooldown or alternatively Ironskin for survival. You could also run a law here with crit or toughness. Hell you could even run akarats prophet for oh shit moments.
Passives: Finery, Heavenly Str, Lord Commander, Optional choice
Choices:
Indestructible - great for GRifts Holy Cause - Extra dmg
Renewal - More healing
Towering shield - Even harder hitting shield bash
Interesting idea. Having 6 pc akhans I'd probably drop roar in favor of a defensive for t5/6. I might give this a go as I have a well rolled piro as well and it has wrath regen on it. Might be a nice switch up from my typical firelight :).
I noticed that Death's Bargain (http://www.diablohub.com/database/item/deaths-bargain/information/) deals 750 to 1000 percent of your LPS to enemies within 20 yards. One might think that this means to wear these pants you want to stack tons of LPS, but I'm wondering if firestarter procs off of these. If so then a single point into LPH in paragon would cause 1 tick per second within 20 yard when you have firestarter up (which with a 6pc akhans bonus = all the time). Has anyone tested this? I was thinking about trying this out but didn't want to take the time to farm it if it doesn't proc it. Gear setup I was thinking 5 pc akhans (shoulders, head, chest, gloves, boots), death's bargain pants, ring of royal grandeur, bul kathos (if I can find one), reaper's wrap w/ element of choice and neck / weapon / shield of choice. The idea being that firestarters only real weakness is it takes a little bit of time to ramp up, though not much, and with these items it would ramp quicker. With a Bul Kathos and Death's Bargain both ticking 1 time per second you get 2 applications per second plus each attack. I attack 1.81 times per second assuming infinite wrath in a perfect vacuum world.
This would mean in the 3 second stacking window (yeah I know it rolls over and doesn't really work like that--but for arguements sake) I would have
6 applications through Bul Kathos and Deaths bargain within an area of effect
2 applications from main hit of fire starter
5 to 6 applications through dot and tempest
13 to 14 applications of the 460 percent fire dot per second seems like it would ramp up very very quickly with these two items added into the mix almost twice as fast? So anyway back to the main question can anyone confirm that Death's Bargain works with fire starter? How did it work for you was it worth it or not?
Well in fairness part of the advertisement for the anniversary was "Double legendary and rift shards" I never saw the double shards but meh look at the image on diablo3.com for confirmation of this
As a side note to those gathering gear. The 6 piece could be good I suppose but at the moment I don't have it and am having great success with this combo:
RoRG - Reduces the requirements for sets by 1 2 pc - Cain's gives attack speed, gold find, and magic find (attack speed being the key)
2 pc - Aug - Gives tons of dmg reduction from regular and elites also gives plus dmg vs elites
3 pc - Blackthorns - Gives lots of extra dmg reduction, gives +dmg to elites, gives immune to desecrate, plague and molten which is awesome especially if you have a immunity neck on top of it.
With this combo I run holy +dmg with holy cause and never have problems. Im only doing t4 atm, but Im pretty confident I can move up into t5 solo with the RoRG I found this morning before work as it boosts the set bonus of all three sets which makes each awesome.
Don't feel too bad, it was almost 160 hours before I found a jenka at lvl 70. I had one lvling up at 30 but needless to say it didn't work out for lvl 70 :P. Just keep going it's definitely one of the more rare shields there is I think.
Not a big issue, your spells are still doing Holy-damage.
It "becomes" a problem when you are out of wrath and you start auto-attacking.
Blessed Shield uses your total block-chance, btw.
ive said it before. but people tend to no actually read what they are surpposed to. but it only benefits from your shields block chance not ur entire block chance. and the spell clearly states that aswell.
This is how the spell is suppose to work however it has been proven that this is not actually true. There is a lot of videos showing the testing of this however, if you wish to test it yourself try it without the 15 percent block passive and any other block gear, then equip some block gear and that passive and you will see a boost in dmg. It's not huge but it is there. The tooltip is wrong, I'm not sure if it's intended or not but that's the way it is at the moment.
Be better off going SoJ or Unity and a ring of granduer once you are able to get them. The ring of grandeur can make some great sets like aug, or captains get the 3 piece bonus for only 2 pieces which can be really powerful. SoJ provides elemental boost of your choice which is awesome or unity if you get 2 of them can increase your survival by a huge amount at higher torment levels (one on follower with can not die relic, one on you). Either way the benefits would outweigh the restraint focus combo I would think.
Man I wish blizz would update their tooltips on their skill calc already. Anyway your holy cause will heal you enough to stay alive, if you have to put some paragon on life on hit. Works up to t4 for sure. The advantage you gain to using jenka is that you don't need to have an extra skill devoted to wrath or a passive devoted only to defense. I used blessed ground fires of heaven instead of phalanx for the single target due to extra fire dmg procs on firestarter, however you could go phalanx bowmen for extra single target dmg instead. Falling sword with flurry hits pretty hard now if your packing holy dmg. Fervor also gives you 15 percent CDR which is huge if your using even more cooldowns since you don't have to use a primary generator. It's all about give and take. I think that as said a shitty rolled glyph will still be worse than a very good 2h....but a mediocre glyph will be better than a good 2h imo.

Also other than getting an SOJ (as it's been elusive for me) what suggestions would you have for gearing?

Looks like it has lots of potential. Thoughts?
