Definitely not a male Monk. It is not a male Barbarian either (closer than a monk). It looks like he is wearing a shirt with a collar, barbarian is shirtless as is the monk. Barbarians hair is pulled up in a pony tail, Monk has no hair, this hair looks short and has bangs.
I think you are to something. That definitely does not look like any existing character and I don't think the "Season 8 Leaf" is causing the difference.
I would say (100% not a male monk [the features are close to a barbarian and it is possible the leaf is causing the difference]) this not an existing character in the game.
That is without a doubt a male witch doctor with some green particle affects from the season icon obscuring it
i can respect every opinion as long as they are not allready proven wrong.
"Nothing important announced (minor patch)25% of Users - 2 votes"
who the f**k votes this? why is there even an option like this to vote in the first place?
its very clear that SOMETHING will be there related to Diablo. thats a FACT. diablo twitter account allready confirmed that. what are you smoking on?
and hah, this guy again, saiyng "D4 IMPOSSIBLEEE" in his 19+min long video. no word to say to you at this point dude.
...IMPOSIBRUUU.. lol
We've been let down so often, it's the most practical answer. You're most likely overhyping the 'something' that they're going to announce. Watch it be those 3d printed statutes of your diablo characters. "something"
My understanding is GR's have better legendary yield, but T6 speed clears net you more experience. So if legendaries are more important than paragon I'd focus on GR's you can clear with relative easy. Also you can focus on gem upgrades which are a guaranteed/known upgrade.
Since 2.05, the entire Fetish Army (even the dagger-wielding ones) deal elemental damage according to their rune.
Do you have a source for this? Personal testing, or...? I would probably switch to a fire based build if this is true, but I can't find any other information saying this is the case.
It's certainly true. Like with every other spell in the game, the rune determines the elemental dmg.
Kind of a silly thing to say, considering he says "Since 2.0.5", indicating that prior to 2.0.5, it did not work according to, as you say, "every other spell in the game". It's not stated in the notes, so I don't see an official stance on it, and haven't tested it personally.
The thing I don't like about physical damage is that I don't care for any of the non-pet-related physical skills, and there's too few of them to choose from. Pile-On, for example. Feels like it's far too narrow, and I feel like I'm not taking advantage of that synergy if I go all in on a physical damage build and don't use all physical based skills. I've been considering a build without Sycophants, to avoid the overwrite, as I have the kukuri and can get pretty frequent army casts, though I may just accept the overwrite as having Sycophants to fill in the blanks of the 15 fetish cap still increases the kukuri proc rate leading to earlier BBV/army casts. Or might go with another Zombie dog passive in place to further buff a gargantuan fire dog.
Well the thing with the Physical build is that you don't really use active skills with the build. You just move around a lot and let your pets carry you. Example is that you take Mass Confusion: Paranoia, Pirhanado, and Rain of Toads as your three "active" skills. The rest are pets. Gargantuan(Wrathful Protector/Restless Giant), Zombie Dogs with Life Leech, and BBV with Slam Dance. Get some Hexing Pants of Mr. Yan, and just stay nimble, drop toads to refresh fetishes and keep them up, then keep moving. Two dog passives (Midnight Feast/Zombie Handler) help and you use a Uhkapian Serpent as your mojo. The SMK thing works great in a Fire Build, and with 4 piece zuni. You then can indeed drop your sycophants, and roll with a big fire dog, and Wrathful, and Fire Toads (maybe) even. I'd say Rhen'ho favors Fire build too.
I use the hex-chicken bomb for mobility in my physical build- also packs a nice punch
We just have different opinions. You think it will not be capped at 40% i think it will be capped at 40%. Itas better to be prepared so in my case i will not go above 40% to prepare. If it does happen to go above 40% with paragon/abilities then great it will be even easier
You've managed to find the one thing that feels like more of a waste of time than playing d3 right now - SPECULATING about playing d3 later...

So there's how they kill CMWW. I think these caps are going to singlehandedly half (or worse) everyone's current dps. Is it just me or does it seem like they are just nerfing the crap out of everything because if they don't, we won't kill the monsters they want us to, in the way they want us to, to get the loot they want us to, in the way they want us to?
I dunno about you guys, but I love the current builds that take advantage of combos. I don't want this to be just another stupid hack n' slash game where all of your skills are interchangeable (don't matter) and that's all you do is just smash.
Since i don't have trifecta everything - i honestly think all i need to do is change my crit gems to +dmg gems in my weapons and I would only lose a little bit of dps. I'm optimized around mp7-mp8 right now. But if you're decked out rolling through mp10 like it's butter - then you'll definitely notice it.
I saved a decent amount of gold and money in my bnet acct in preparation of getting back into it when the expac hits. What to do with my gold now? Buy up items? Try to sell and cash out to pay pal? What can I do with my bnet money now? Use it to buy future Blizz games...that it? Not happy with this announcement.
Bnet bucks is a horrible concept, You can't buy shit with it, can't cash out into real money, and the only thing you can use it for after the AH demolition is Hearthstone. I hope they will let players that have bnet bucks cash out. As of now they are still thinking about how to handle the situation.
For a 15% loss you could buy gold then sell it back (if anyone is buying it...) but send it to paypal instead of bnet. I think that's the only current option.
So now that you've had your fun exploiting what you call a broken and overpowered class it's ready for a nerf? And a big F.U. to you sir.
there really must be something wrong with you.
Sry but ive been playing a barb since d2. i was playing a barb at launch, and i stuck with it even when everyone was rerolling to dh or wiz to run around exploiting stuff in a4 while i was still bashing my head against the butcher in a1. so its not about me wanting to exploit something OP as you seem to think
i play barb since i love the class, even without the OP builds. the early day tank barb was really fun to play, but going back to that now would leave you so far behind everyone else.
i didn´t even use any fury spender back then except Insanity to deal with elites.
reason being that they where just inefficient. still are without any real way of gaining resource.
barbs resource system needs a total revamp if you ask me, not just a plain nerf.
Then it's a good thing that no one is asking you.
The game does not get balanced based on YOUR play style. What is wrong with YOU?
Barbs needed to be nerfed, yes. but this is so way over the top and unbalanced its not even funny.
Yeah, barbs are so balanced in the current state. /End sarcasm.
Really if you think the barb nerfs are not justified then you really do not understand any form of game design.
You think it is super unbalanced, i guess you have done some testing then eh?
Barb needs a nerf and a big one at that, having infinite resource + running at the speed of light + insane CC immunity + the dps/mobile dps to go with it.
Bring on the nerfs, it might make me play my barb again for real, instead of turning him into a self found S&B machine.
you obviusly have trouble reading i assume?
already stated that barbs needed a nerf, ive written several times that perma wrath and infinite resource was op.
gotten alot of people like you posting everywhere lately, guessing you play dh? they at least seem to be the group of people who would rather see barb unplayable than balanced.
i have done a few rounds of testing with builds that dont revolve around into the fray and thrives on chaos. it works sure, but the fury generation is very unsmooth and in general very "meh". comparing it with a monk for instance really shows how much the new barb would lag behind.
maybe you should try and play a few classes and think about their resource management before you open your mouth.
What im hoping is that they take any changes to PTR a good few months before they plan on launching anything, so we don´t get another case of what happend to the demon hunter early on in d3.
You seem to just be thinking about the BiS gear barbs that are pretty ridiculous. If you take the average player who doesnt rock 200k+ dps these builds aren't as amazing as you are indicating. I guess they're really fast pace if you play at a lower MP. What's your point?
You have done a 'few' rounds of testing and this qualifies you as a barb nerfing expert? You must think very highly of yourself.
No but having 2k hours played in this game and having played all classes, but mainly barb, monk and wiz does mean i have the knowledge to make correct assessment.
why is it that every kid on these forums suddenly woke up and decided to cry fowl for everyone wanting them to polish up the nerfs in the leaked strings.
as far as i know no one in this thread has asked for the current wrath ww build to remain as it is?

You are nowhere close to the World Record speedkill, do you understand this ?
Or do you want me to record a ~10sec speedkill on (mp10) Azmodan with my barb ?
How is that even a comparison? He spent like 30 seconds setting up some buffs and a lame ass gear substitution and juked his dps. The other video he just goes into combat right after it starts.

Are you suggesting they revert it back?
How do you not see the appeal in this?
