I don't have time to rebuttal more posts, but what positive can you think of by this system?
The fact that most of the community LOVES it and it's rejuvenating players and bringing players back to the game?
The fact that if we put enough time in we can be free of MF on gear, therefore making it slightly easier to find ultra high-end gear (it's one less affix that MUST be on the piece).
The fact that I run around doing MF runs and every now and then I gain 3% MF, 3% GF and some stats? It's like a small bonus every now and then for doing stuff I was already planning on doing.
The fact that coupled with the class overhauls (people are now attempting to do what is FUN with their class instead of simply what is effective) and the legendary overhaul (people are now excited to see orange/green text), PLevels are just icing on the cake. People are having a lot of fun waiting for that loot explosion on a champion pack. Seeing their XP bar inch along only helps validate that for many people.
If you're hell bent on seeing the glass as half empty then you can never comprehend how it is half full at the same time.
I will rephrase the question a third time because apparently no one understand that I'm not talking about right now, I'm talking about expansion time. What positive do you see in long term from this system. The system right now is fun and gives a goal, but this system can also potentially push away new players.
It's also non alt friendly, by alt I mean your other characters, it forces you to play one character till p100. But it's only one character that would benefit from it. Therefore discouraging you to play your other characters, because they don't have the benefits your lvl 100 paragon character has. I feel that it's a good start, the exp needed per level needs to be decreased in future patches. I understand that there are many ways to look it, but right now it's still raw, there can be hot fixes or patches to correct design flaws, and stuff.
Do you think legendaries such as The Three Hundredth Spear, will be high demand as it's a class wide 1h item with magic find on it, while we still don't know if the new and improved one might have the magic find on it
WD's buffs makes it feel like you should spam spiders, or brood mother, while having dogs out, while having sprit barrage Manitou over you, while you spam acid rain, living blobs.
Legendaries are weak compared to other items atm, I like your suggestions, but i think they should make class specific items have class specific stats to them, finding a wand with 300 str to it, is sorta sad, but whats more sad is that its a legendary too.
