Ignore his post, hes one of the reasons of Blizzard simplifying games campaign. Anyways props for the video, i had same toughts about the game, even before the release. Hope this vid could get to Blizz at any point.
I do hope they take some of the things I said into consideration for whatever the first expansion is. They really can't change any of the main plot at this point.
D3 will be to easy, make it harder!
-> QQ ITS TOO HARD
Noone cared about the story in D2 / Not enough story / Too subtle, make moar story plx!
-> TOO MUCH STORY / FORCING IT ON US QQ
Seriously, just fucking enjoy the game, it's not like that there are other games out there you get more out of for the same price.
Tell me one game you payd / have to pay 55'ish bucks for that lasted you this long.
Count the time in you'll be playing it in the future.
Exactly.
I agree with some of the things you say here, but one thing that is absolutely not true is "Only 1 of the 3 main stats is useful for any single class". They're all useful, it's just that the main stat is more useful, which is totally acceptable.
But they're really not useful. Strength for example just provides a tiny bit of armor, something that no Demon Hunter would ever look for.
This is not true, every class needs more armor in Inferno difficulty. It may not be a stat that you seek out in the AH, but it's still very useful to have. That's why some of the best items in the game come with all 4 stats - Str, Dex, Int, and Vit and hopefully a + to Armor
The amount of armor provided by strength is relatively miniscule. It's a wasted stat for classes other than Barbs.

By the way I LOVE how you never actually mention WoW but as you talk through the standardize item system you pretty much show WoW content as a remark that people need to accept that Blizzard has adopted many systems from WoW into Diablo, most notably, the itemization standardization.
I have no idea how that's suppose to be relevant. You can stop playing after normal if you want. The reason to keep playing is if you want more and more difficult challenges with the same content.
There is no "challenge", thats the whole point.
Oh, I get it. This is about your ego, not game design.
As usual when 'bad design' or 'poor implementation' is cited, that's what's really at stake. It just wasn't designed or implemented *his way*.
Inferno and the loot system are working as intended. This isn't WoW.
Diablo 2 wasn't WoW either.
Yes, Diablo 3 isn't Diablo 2, which doesn't really address the issue of the flaws.
omg I +1 you so hard man, that's exactly what I thought about difficulty of this game put into a video
Embedding yourself into a forum to market links doesn't work if you only comment on the links you're promoting. You have to pretend to be a member of the community to fool anyone.
That's not me, nor have I linked this forum post to anyone, but okay.
You've basically declared that the fundamental appeal of the Diablo franchise: gear whoring, is a design flaw.
I don't mean to say that it's a design flaw. I think it's a great draw! The problem is that the higher difficulty is more about having bigger numbers instead of having more skill.
I realize that for a game revolving around gear whoring this would make sense, but Diablo 1 and 2 never had this issue.

Err, I am enjoying the game. What?

I mentioned WoW like 5 times in that video.
