i wouldn't even bother doing key/organ runs without being able to handle at least mp5. If you get a good group with different characters you can punch above your weight. The odds and time to invest at mp0 or 1 would never be worth it. I mean i saw that guy identify 10 hellfires with not one decent roll.
I'm after my ring as well, i have 1 machine atm for the cause. i run only em on mp5, both times the organ dropped. I'm just missing 1 organ. I figure you just do a few runs and keep your stacks up every 20 mins or so, you will get what you need. Just gotta make sure the group is solid. wiz and dh are good for crowd control, and barb/monk for the melee dps. add me if you need one more. btw khulles slow time bubbles are infuriating lol. They last way too long imo.
These guys aren't thinking very far outside the box. This is an expansion, not an update! Think bigger
1. Unique Builds - Make more builds viable at level 60. Buff the unused weaker spells so we can use them! Let's face it 90% of people use the cookie cutter builds, let's be honest.
2. Paragon Spell Points - Paragon Levels allow you to put ONE stat point into a spell (Max 50 per spell). As these spells gain stat points, they become stronger AND visually more elaborate. Eg. For 100 Paragon levels, you could pump 50 points into something like Gargantuan and the rest spread into others. Have this epic giant tank that is indestructable. He grows in height for every 10 stat points until his head is out of the screen. THIS would be fun as hell. Imagine all the different builds you could have. Archon beam that goes in 6 directions anyone?
Point 2 WILL help with point 1.
3. Monster Power 20 (or more) for this to stay challenging with the above suggestions.
4. Demonic & Heavenly Weapons - (A level above legendary and set items) Weapons crafted outside the known universe in hell and heaven. They will have 100% NEW and UNIQUE affixes attached to them. When one drops and is picked up there is a cinematic. 5 Million gold showers from the sky (don't laugh i'm being serious). These weapons have a 0.1% chance to IRRADICATE. Calling apon a power from either heaven and hell to deal 10000% weapon damage within 20 yards.
Yeh those goblins are a tease for me, MP3-5 I can get through pretty easily, but i can't down those goblins at all, maybe 75% down at best. That's even with a monk and teleport punches. That's with 42k dps, 65k burst dps.
However, yes the cheesy and predictable dialogue was a big let down. Should have made the lore and vocabulary much more advanced. Diablo's comments in the final battle are almost comical. In fact all bosses dialogue is pretty lame and childish, it spoon feeds the player too much as to what is happening. Also when Diablo's saggy demon tits bounced i laughed my ass off, not ideal atmosphere for a 'final boss' to be intimidating or epic. Also imo Diablo should have been twice the size at least. But that's just me.
I love this idea of swapping one stat, could create some really beasty items without having to farm for 50 years to buy/find one. This would also bring down the value of items with amazing stats to a more realistic price. ie: instead of 100 million, maybe around 10-20 million. This would also take fair bit of game time and focus off the AH, as we can get the stats we need by finding not so good items with one good stat.
Pro's:
- Cheaper items
- Better items
- Interesting item stat combos
- Less Auction House focus
- More in game (action) playtime
- More accessibility to inferno acts 3 & 4 for players that may be discouraged.
Cons:
- Game will be more easily finished by more people. (not sure that is a con tbh)
- You could completely max out single stats that would make your char very OP (eg. a demon hunter with 3008 dexterity etc)
Top idea though, i think the good outweighs the bad.
In relation to the AH items, can you guys also look at making the stats/preview (rollover) available for items already sold and pending. Currently you cannot see the specs of an item in transit. For example the other day i wanted to show a mate an item I had sold. Couldn't do it.
That doesn't solve anything really. I don't want to see a button that just swaps my gear out. I'd like for people to actually value MF as a stat on their main gear and not just have it on some crappy MF set they have to finish a boss off.
The faster they implement the MF changes the better so we can all get used to it and it can settle in.
We have enough bloody stats to think about as it is, without having to worry about magic find and gold find on top lol
As you all know, we monks have to make sure I have good levels of the following, just to survive:
- Dexterity
- Life on Hit
- All Resist
- A single Resist (eg. poison)
- Attack Speed
- Critical Hit Chance
- Critical Hit Damage
- Armour level
- Vitality
LOL! .....Area of Effect

5. 2 New characters minimum
That is all.
Why not i say.
pretty sweet huh!
wow, that is a high quality piece of shit, nice one!

That would be great, cheers.

NOTE: These were all found with ZERO Magic Find gear
1st Legendary - Found on a dead civilian
2nd Legendary - Pile of goop on the ground
Set item - Spiderling
I still am yet to find one when farming with 5 stacks and my full MF Gear set.
Go figure..
