The person you quoted only mentions the second unity, then you ask if you should drop CC or int for it which is the other unity. I am basically telling you he is not talking about that Unity.
I wouldnt reroll main stat ever.
It depends on how much crit chance you have, can you "afford" to loose 9.5% crit chance

My thought process for rerolling the int is that you can only get crit/crit dmg from gear, as they both cap in paragon but int never caps so in the long run it would be best to keep the crit and crit dmg. Other than that, neither ring at the moment has crit chance so I don't think it would be a good idea at the time at least to drop it, but I could keep using my current amulet.

The people that will top the leaderboards are those that have a good group of people to play with and those that are knowledgeable. HC and SC both have a lot of these people and it has nothing to do with the mode they chose to play on.

Has anyone seen a 4000+?
A perfectly rolled Warmonger will be able to get 4k in damage without socket. Throwing on a socket and a ruby on a few others and will be able to get to 4k, but not useful for anything other than bragging rights.
Lots of 2h can get 4k without a socket. Then you use a ramaldihn socket thingy and you have 4k and a socket.
Kilo, keep in mind that LS Skorn's were some of the best weapons in vanilla D3.
Considering that attack speed is a non-factor in dots,(at least for witch doctor) jade doc hypothetically would work best with the heaviest, slowest weapon available.
That said there's a good chance missing out on the % to elite of sunkeeper, and damage, CC and % haunt on mojo will negate any benefits we see from switching to a 2h.
But then again 3k x 1.25 = 3750dps, should hit like a truck...
I think you can get 3.2k on live, so 4000 dps. Maximus may end up being worth it
Ok, I'm gonna stop quoting that because it's getting outrageously long lol. But anyway, I had the crimsons equipped because before I made the video, I was wearing all Vyr's / cooldown reduction gear. I didn't have anything else to equip and didn't feel like making cain's. Second, I just threw the unity on since it was an item being mentioned as superior to RoRG that you would lose out on if you wore Firebird's. Personally I almost always play in a group, so I would never be wearing it anyway.
In the end I still think my point stands though. You called this a major nerf, since you get locked out of Cindercoat, magefists, Aughild's, and unity if you use Firebirds. But I used Firebird's, didn't get locked out of Aughild's, and I still killed Ghom quicker than when I used those previously mentioned pieces. I fail to see how this is a major nerf. Another thing to mention is that in greater rifts lvl 30 and higher, you need to kite a hell of a lot more, and your MM stacks would constantly drop off enemies the way they are on live right now. With the new firebird set, you can kite and never lose that big DoT from ticking.
The real problem is that T6 isn't the endgame anymore. Our damage has to scale beyond T6 ghom and reach into greater rift levels 40+. T6 is only like GR level 25. The old stacking conflag allowed the damage to scale to those levels whereas now we are capped.

And had a time when it wasn't stacking up anymore... Just DoT was refresh...
If you displayed white damage, you would saw they DoT never went highter...
If it changed again since, my bad...

A up from 55% over 3 sec to 130% over 3 secs...
It mean that,roughly you need 3 MM to hit to do same damage of one DoT as it's buffed now...
Sure now it's capped, but it also mean that you will deal roughly same damage in one shot instead or three shot...
Add it to the firebird set as it stand now... It's just insane... IT was to be excepted...

Not sure why you complain.. They actually buffed it...If you didn't understood, they only buffed the DoT... They didn't touched the initial damage on hit... Because as it was before, it wasn't even stacking... Be happy...
Conflag wasn't stacking before? Did you play mm/conflag before?
New bonus looks a bit underwhelming. With 1.25M DPS, 90% fire damage, 43% elite damage it only ticks for ~44M when fully stacked (tested on T6 Ghom). Not sure why, but I was expecting more from it as a compensation for all the nerfs we've got.
44m/sec until they die seems pretty good. It might not be as high as you could get before with conflag, but now you can drop some survivability for nova or something and just stack then run past them.
The reason I dislike Hydra is because it is static. Even worse when you do get the wand and have to cast it twice to get the benefit of the weapon. If the weapon just doubled the dmg of the hydra I might be more inclined to use it because you can more easily place and progress with just one. And you can't fix it by having it become a pet that follows you because then it just isn't interesting and isn't a diablo hydra.
I am running a similar build but I have the 4 set bonus for Tal Rasha. I can't seem to get the cold meteor to proc with the cold damage from the thunderfury. I am wondering if the cold damage on the thunderfury will make elemental exposure stack. Anyone know?
Elemental exposure will stack, but you wont get the cold meteor to proc from it.
