MarianK93, I actually ended up doing the math on it myself before I saw your post, and I am happy to report that we reached the same conclusion. Thank you for your time!
I have found myself a Thunderfury at last, and I am super happy! But I am unsure of how I should enchant it. Currently the stats are as shown here:
As you see, I can either:
Enchant for higher damage (max roll here would be 1199-1490)
Enchant for more intelligence (max roll 750)
Remove the area damage in favor of 7% attack speed or 10% damage (I've heard the %dmg is bugged, but will be fixed next patch?
My initial thought was to go with option 1 and hope for higher damage rolls, but some opinions before I make up my mind, as I expect to be using this item for a long time. Thanks in advance guys!
Personally I voted 1 week, and I do believe most people who are "hardcore" enough to hang out on these forums will have beaten in within that timeframe. If you, for some reason, don't beat normal during the first week, I believe that would be due to you not having enough time on your hands to do so. And if you don't have enough time to do so, you probably don't have the time (and the urge) to check Diablofans either?
I just hope it won't take ages... I'm on a shitty connection, and my download speed is usually around 300kb/s... Downloading a huge patch when I'm all excited to start playing will be such a downer
Hi guys! Here is the build I have made for my upcoming Wizard!
First I'd like to say that I have not tried the beta, and therefore my choices are just based on what seems cool in my head
Active skills:
Electrocute with Chain Lightning
This will be my go-to spell whenever there are lots of baddies coming!
Ray of Frost with Cold Blood
This did seem like a pretty decent single target spell, especially while runed to be free to cast (if that is not a placeholder number)
Teleport with Wormhole
Because you never get enough of teleporting
Frost Nova with Cold Snap
I've always like Frost Nova, and vs melee enemies this seems really strong
Meteor with Molten Impact
Saw some videos with Meteor, and it looks so awesome! Really want to try this one.
Archon with Improved Archon
I have no idea how the Archon will actually work, but in theory it looks like a pretty good spell choice. Not quite sure which rune I'd eventually pick though.
Passive skills:
Glass Cannon
I've always preferred playing my mage/wizard characters like glass cannons. Pretty much "kill them before they get close".
Prodigy
Gaining Arcane Power when using my main spell? Yes please! At least it looks good on paper.
Unstable Anomaly
Because even glass cannons get hit at times. This is my "OH SHIT" button (but I don't even have to click it!)
That's my build guys, hope you find it somewhat interesting
A friend and I have decided to play though Diablo 2 together while we're waiting for Diablo 3 to come out. None of us have the game, so we'll both need to buy a copy.
I checked the Blizzard store, and the prices seem to be pretty retarded in the EU store (as always).
US:
- 9.99 $
EU:
- 14.99 € (= 20 $ ...wtf?)
- 9.99 £ (= 16 $)
I guess it's not the end of the world if I have to pay double the US price, but my question is then:
Can I buy Diablo 2 from the US store and still play on European servers?
Edit: Thanks for the answer, Afro

I just received 2 GR keys doing a T7 rift. I guess the chance is pretty slim, but it is definitely possible to receive 2 GR keys pre T8.

As you see, I can either:

I don't really need it though, got a fully working Razer Deathadder that I can truly recommend as well!
And I'm not using any ad-blocker that I know of.. *shrug*
