Seems odd that they'd wait this long and put in the amount of time developing Team Deathmatch as they did, only to scrap the whole thing in the end. Time for ladders? xD
all these personal attacks, yet nobody offers any proof to dispute my claim, other than blizzard says it is rng therefore it must be rng. way to go fanboys, you can join the other lemmings off the end of the cliff. nobody has yet to address how 2 identical ivory towers dropped other than a vague reference to a possible bug.
small sample size? you're using the 1-2 instances I brought up but i've got 20k+ elite kills which I obviously can't go into kill for kill. sure, on the big picture of millions of diablo players getting billions of kills 20k is small, but it is enough for me to interpolate and draw the conclusion that there is a flaw in blizzard's rng. but go ahead and continue repeating the same old blather with absolutely zero evidence other than taking blizzard's word for it while on the other hand complaining i lack evidence. kettle, let me introduce you to pot.
Yeah, you're right, 20K elite kills IS a small sample size.
I can understand the changes this would have on weapons (balance wise I mean) but armor pieces as well? I mean lower armor is a drawback, but not nearly as detrimental as lower base damage on a weapon, doesn't this mean better loot is going to drop far more frequently?
Not sure how I feel about that... I suppose rares do need an increase, what with legendaries taking the majority of good loot these days.
I try not to think about it too much, the way the story was delivered (and the story itself) could have been a lot better. But the overall idea of the black soul-stone and Diablos rebirth as the prime evil was pretty interesting. Cains death and both Belial and Azmodans story archs were pretty terrible (Terrible liar/tactician).
Ah well, the cut-scenes may be annoying now but they were awesome the first time to watch
As far as Tyrael as a companion goes... well he was really useful in Inferno before the nerfs! I guess even Tyrael feels the wrath of the nerf hammer...
I said Barb in 1.04 first for obvious reasons, however I chose Wizard secondly for the Archon and CM:SC builds (or even a combination of the builds). Incredibly powerful builds with equally powerful survivability
I've obtained a few legendary drops off bosses myself, even one off Diablo himself! Seems I have just been lucky though as I haven't had any post 1.04 off bosses so far :'(
1500% looked dodgy when I first read it... still don't see how they missed that when they wrote the patch notes but ah well. So long as they don't nerf whirlwind barbs...
Make it epic, like a massive fanfare of light beams like when you level up. Then a huge glow around it and an icon on the map.
Why not i say.
Agreed! Tyrael should come down and start rejoicing and fireworks should start going off as far as I'm concerned, they are legendary drops after all! ^^
Hunting for legendaries in 1.04 in act 3... is way too addicting. I need to be studying damn it! The nice rare you get once in awhile is also pretty neat ^^ And paragon levels just add more to it
I agree that a "A "balls-out" uber hard difficulty area" should be added, although not sure how they'd balance rewards, perhaps farming act 3 for some sort of key/s (which is used upon entry) to gain access to the area (Similar to D3 pandemonium events I believe?). That way we can look forward to some increased drops in the new area but not ignore the rest of the game

To answer your question UberMey unless they roll really well (with some crit damage, attack speed or all res) they are pretty garbage

(It is worth an arm and a leg though, but you can see why)
