Anyone else feels it's weird that they added a "Healing on Hit" for the Mantra of Healing when there is another Mantra who has a similar but reduced effect? Don't remember which of them, might be Retribution that has a rune that gives a 30% chance to be healed for 250-300 on hit. Doesn't that make it underpowered all of the sudden?
What is this "build diversity" they speak of? It clearly doesn't exist for DH inferno.
Just because you don't have gear yet to use another build you can't judge the build people find easiest without gear to be the only build that is useful
I just wanted to say that Wirt's Bell can be found on a merchant in the Act II town. It costs 100 000 gold to purchase from him/her. It's the child merchant.
I also got beta, not sure if it was on the 20th though. I checked my mail the 23rd and had two Blizzard emails. One saying I had gotten beta and the other saying why I got beta.
"You should have recently received a separate email inviting you into the Diablo III beta test. We have selected a number of long-standing Blizzard gamers to gain access to the beta in this early stage, and we're pleased to include you in that number in recognition of your history with us and your ongoing support of our games. "
This sounds like an issue with time vs money. OP want to spend time getting his gear while the others will spend money. Both equals the same thing in the end, so what is the big deal? If you decide to spend countless hours playing to grind for the gear you want while others use those hours to work and earn money and then use that money to buy items since they didn't have enough spare time to grind them.
There is nothing wrong with either way in my opinion. Obviously the money could have been spent on something else, but who are we to judge what other people want to spend their money on?
I don't think there will be an Achievement compared to WoW's Feat of Strength. So no, no "Realm First" Achievements in Diablo III, or atleast I hope there aren't any. This subject got me thinking about Rift which has a massive Realm First system. Just looting an item that hasn't been looted before will pop the message "[name] was first on the Shard to receive [item]" and it popped for everything.
One reason why there won't be any "Realm First" is because....there aren't any "Realm" to speak of. And "World First" is not an ingame Achievement
The Shaman WoW pet looks awesome so hopefully I can make a little bit of money back selling it on eBay, that is if it's a code and not tied to your account.
I suspect it's tied to the account you put the Collector's Edition on.
As you see on the gift card you have Murkablo for World of Warcraft and then the Starcraft II item isn't revealed yet. The item is NOT a beta key, it is a special ingame thing for all attendees and Virtual Ticket buyers that is for the Starcraft II game.
I'd say atleast 1 million of those are eligible. Most facebook users will be US/Europe.
So 1 in 5000 per wave maybe. GG.
Actually the chance is higher if you have a friend who is in the sweepstake aswell since he might share the second beta account with you incase he gets the double price. So more like 1 in 4000 (if you have friends willing to share the second key with you)
As mentioned you need to create a character first, since I don't think it's possible to write with characters that aren't on active games such as World of Warcraft characters while you have no current subscription.

I remember this. I also already have Diablo II + Expansion on my Battle.net account so I might sell the cd-key or something.

And yes I will get it.
