they do feel very hidden, i like either or, showing my character name is nice so personal friends know my chars, but battle tags i like aswell in a larger perspective for knowing "popular" people ex. athene im sure we all know a few populars from other games
i really hope they do..im the same way none of my friends are consistently online plus i think it will help make better communities across the game, i know that they have no intention of making this a competitive e sportish game but it would be fun if there were some guild/clan rivalries and competition
looks decent depending on your gear, hows your crit chance and damage for bats, also do you have any mana problems? you could through hex into your talents with 20% damage to hexed targets replacing darts and change a passive to vision quest if your having troubles with mana and with 5 cooldowns it wont feel like a struggle to keep the mana regen up, but if you decide to go that path try and find some items with mana regen best choices on helm and offhand
i usually can get my stats boosted a lot at low levels with getting a chest with high dex and vit with 3 sockets and socketing more high level dex vit gems and do the same with pants aswell
for healing spells i was using breath of heaven or the one that puts a circle around you that enemies cannot enter+runed to heal but now instead ive replaced that with the mantra that heals you and whenever i need a quick heal i just refresh the mantra, so far this is the only use ive used for it solo
I haven't played beta so i don't have much of an idea as to mechanics, but im hoping to have a high dps monk that is reliant of keeping a good uptime of buffs with Deadly Reach:Foresight Breath (Dmg 18%-30sec) of Heaven:Blazing Wrath(Dmg 15%-45 sec) combined with passive skill Guiding Light(16%dmg-15 sec) Sweeping Wind:Blade Storm(75%wep dmg@3stacks-5 sec) and Combination strike(8%-3 sec) , while having Seven-Sided Strike:Sustained attack for reduced cooldown as a Spirit dump if needed, while keeping dashing strike as a form of mobility to string mobs together and having mantra of conviction:overawe to improve that dmg even more.
Survivability will be relied on by Dashing Strike, Breath of Heaven and Near Death Experience.
I plan on playing as a 3-4 person party being used as a high dps player with a bit of supportive healing.
