The drops are not going to be class-specific. The loot will just be randomly distributed amongst all characters involved in the fight and/or party, regardless of class. This means your loot will be visible to you alone, while other characters' loot will be visible to only them.
Yeah, it's pretty obvious to most people how similar the classes are. More likely than not the OP is just feeling butthurt because he unrealistically wants every class to stand on its own as a completely unique and innovative creation, when in reality they will always be compared to previous Diablo characters, if not those of other games (to which, interestingly enough, the OP conceded within the same fragmented sentence).
I have a huge list of games I want to complete before Diablo III comes out. But most likely what will happen is I'll play Final Fantasy XIV with my wife next year while waiting for Diablo III.
I completely agree with your first two points - especially the red outline problem. In fact, I've surfed several forums and there seems to have been an overwhelmingly negative response about it across the majority of the player base. I'm positive that Blizzard is aware of it by now. The stun text I hadn't thought about too much before, but now that you mention it I agree with your arguments.
As for the quest panel, I'm not personally bothered by it since the size does keep it consistent with the other UI panels, but I wouldn't be disappointed if it was changed/resized/etc.
One of the things I find quite distasteful (and I've mentioned it in another thread) is the way item names are displayed on their popups. The ragged right edges created by the randomly generated item names are very unappealing. Centered on top of the popup is the way to go in my opinion.
EDIT: Another thing I wanted to add is that some of the gameplay videos show numbers above the characters' heads, seemingly indicating damage while they're fighting. However, the displays are very inconsistent (maybe it only shows critical hits or damage to the player character?) and I believe overall unnecessary.
What are the chances that Blizzard will release the BlizzCon demo for public download? Especially considering it is almost guaranteed that Diablo III will not be released next year?
