either two wizards (can teleport, slow time, slow enemies) or maybe two barbarians. Charge//stuns with a lot of HP could be too hard to handle in a small enough arena area.
Me too. It reminds me when I water my lawn with the mist setting in summertime and a bright beautiful rainbow appears before me like I summoned it with barbarian might. Those are good times.
So my mousepad FINALLY got here. It's a lot bigger than I originally expected it to be. It's also a lot thinner than my other beat-up mousepad that I had.
All I can say is, for 15 dollars this is a really damn good mouse pad.
If Blizzard had named the class just 'Hunter', it would have brought so strong WoW stereotypes that fans would have sharpened their pitchforks and lit their Molotov cocktails ready to usurp the heathen enemy.
Oh of course, except I am against the whole "hunter" name in general.
Agreed. Hunter is just as unacceptable as "demon hunter".
They need to rename this class to something original and cool.
Hell, I woulda been fine with "demon slayer, or "slayer" rather than demon hunter.
I definitely disagree. Warhammer Online kind of does that and it ends up with names like Squig Herder. Like it works since there are so many classes but when theres only 5 you can use names that define the class.
But ALL the classes hunt demons lol. They ALL kill demons, they are ALL powerful and in the end they will all be killing the same boss. "Demon hunter" just doesn't fit because... they ALL hunt demons. You could rename this class to something else and keep its lore and sub-story intact. I mean how exactly does changing this classes name effect that in any way whatsoever? It doesn't. Unless you can explain to me how it does?
"demon hunter" meh it just doesn't work for diablo in my opinion because all the classes will be killing demons equally.
Imho... expansion will have a "undead hunter", you saw it here first. If the team for diablo isn't going to get any more creative or original with naming this class than "demon hunter" then "undead hunter" wouldn't surprise me at all at this point.
U guys want a name? How about night stalker ? or shadow rogue or "nightwing clan" or something.
or simple plain "assassin". Anything is better than "demon hunter". OOooooo demon hunter. I'm guessing he/she hunts demons? lol.
wait wait guys, I know what class the expansion will have. Undead hunter. LOL!!! Yeah instead of a paladin it will be called "undead hunter". Or maybe "death knight" lol.
But all I'm saying is, I don't think "DEMON HUNTER" Fits at all, not at all. It's like saying...
"bear hunter" and is exclusively unique at killing bears. Lol it just doesn't make much sense especially when all the other classes are just as powerful and can kill demons as easy if not easier than this class can. I just think calling this class a "demon hunter" is absurd and actually it just sounds bad to me.
Not to mention people are going to start calling it DH for short online and the only DH I want to see online is in warcraft 3.
I did not say undead are demons. If you attempt to make sly remarks, try to read what I say first.
I repeat what I said: "The undead are risen by demonic powers."
This is evident from what the NPCs tell you in Diablo II alone, for example the undead in act I were disturbed by Diablo's presence (or rather the dark wanderer's) and thus rose from their graves.
Quote from "Warriv, Introduction speech to the game" »
I dont' know if I believe that, but a Dark Wanderer did travel this route few a weeks ago.
He was headed east to the mountain pass guarded by the rogue monastery.
Maybe it's nothing, but evil seems to have trailed in his wake.
You see, shortly after the Wanderer went through, the Monastery's Gates
to the pass were closed and strange creatures began ravaging the countryside.
If you played diablo 2 you would know this.
So according to you, a necromancer raising a skeleton is demonic? I don't think so. A necromancer isn't a demon.
But cool story bro, keep making stuff up. Can't wait to hear the next strawman argument. And no, nothing of which he does is demonic. It's necromantic magic, not demonic. But can still command the "UNDEAD".
"Demon Hunter" is perfect in my opinion. The other classes aren't "demon hunters" because they do not treat the demons like prey, they just go out and kill evil...but the DH, she preemptively thinks of how to kill demons. She plans her moves, and stalks her prey, like a hunter/predator. This is why she is called the Demon Hunter.
So if she runs into the undead I guess shes out of luck according to this analysis.
Nah, don't like guns. The moment you add guns to diablo it isn't diablo anymore. It just becomes something that it isn't. It's supposed to be old-school magic and lore. Not anything modern. That's just diablo and it should stay that way. I'm glad they're not adding guns.
Imho "demon hunter" is rather bland and boring for this class.
Granted I don't have a better idea for a name at the current moment but I really think this class should be renamed to something more fitting to its play style. I mean, "demon hunter"... Aren't all the classes effectively demon hunters as well, lol? I mean... They all hunt demons anyway... It just seems rather unfitting and boring.
Is it just me or is the DH going to be the sickest PVP character ever? I was just watching the amazing trailer of the gameplay with her and between the missle shots, long range snares, grenades, and fan of knives ( especially if fan will be similar to Sorcs. Nova for PVP ) this char. is going to rule! The perfect mix between the assassin and amazon with a touch of Sorc. skills ( burn etc. ) What do you guys think?>
I was thinking the exact opposite from what I saw in the trailer. I thought the other classes looked far more interesting and more powerful regarding pvp abilities.
Me too. It reminds me when I water my lawn with the mist setting in summertime and a bright beautiful rainbow appears before me like I summoned it with barbarian might. Those are good times.

Not only is the barbarian surrounded by joseph's technicolored dreamcoat, but he can cut enemies down with his rainbow slash attack.
Simply amazing.

"I'm going to roll DH guys"
"you're going to spawn a DH in diablo?"
"what"?
"does it have mana burn too ???".
LoL.

you do realize how big the simple USB plug is on the cord in relation to the mouse right? I mean, its very small, just sayin lol.
