Looks like I will never transmog or enchant something. You're never done gearing in diablo. They removed the AH to establish playertrading and longevity in the market, and now this.
Nope, go watch the video. They removed the AH so that finding your own gear was feasible and satisfying.
Lol. And the wind from the seven seas will give you good fortune. Y u so naive.
The console version could provide a good perspective on magic find. Ironborn mode is a lot more practical on console than pc version, and with the auction house closing on pc, I can only see pc magic find becoming just as good as console.
Don't forget that blizzard said they were finding 6 times as many legendaries in loot 2.0 compared to now. That number may have also increased since the announcement of the removal of the auction houses. I am still hopeful that I won't need to trade to get the items I want in RoS lol.
I'm not entirely sure how it works but I think they have only added the strings that contain the passives of the new items. So I suppose that new items give you passive buffs, which are in the datamined alpha right now. If there was actual items I think we could at least get the names.
Probably a good thing if they aren't in the alpha yet, means they are not done - because what we saw in the demo wasn't really an improvement.
That makes sense. I didn't think about it this way. Thanks for the perspective
All the legendary affixes gathered from datamining is exciting info. I have a question though. I think it is a little strange that those legendary effects are all we know about loot 2.0 so far. Is there anyway we can datamine all the normal stat affixes on loot like the new max roll on core stats or new stats like cooldown reduction? I also want to know if APoC will still exist on wizard gear.
That is true about the difficulty in keeping your hp under 30% and not being in danger of getting one shot. You would have to intentionally get hit a few times by enemies to get back under 30% if you get healed. You could minimize the risks by running lower MP levels and not using LpS and LoH stats. You won't need crit chance gear either so that leaves a lot of room for other defense stats.
I think patch 2.0 is going to be another learning game with sweeping changes to skills, items and monster stats. You don't know how much defense will be enough or how much offense you'll need to be efficient in MP10. We don't know the typical stat numbers for loot 2.0 and how it will change at level 70. I will have to wait and see how viable that build will be in gameplay 2.0.
The shrine duration change could actually be a buff if it lasts through death.
I do agree with limiting the swapping of gear while farming. I think it would get out of hand otherwise. For example, if you come across a mortar, molten, desecrator, fire chains elite, you can equip the legendary affix "Prevent 100% of fire damage taken and heal yourself for the amount prevented" and continue to faceroll.
A new DH trinity is born! Guaranteed crits while under 30% HP + Nightstalker + Smokescreen.
I fear demon hunters get hit the hardest with the AtS cap because of quivers. AtS to quivers is like +damage to orbs and mojos. Although they could replace AtS with +damage or something or completely exclude quiver AtS in the cap. Then again, it could be a good thing to promote dual xbow builds, assuming the AtS bonus from dual wielding is excluded in the cap.
You could always go back a few monster power levels if it's too hard. I'm sure that after farming enough armor, resist, HP, LPS, LoH and equipping some defense skills, MP10 won't be hard at all.

Sorry, I didn't realize the topic title could be misunderstood like this when I originally created it >.<
