meh...there's still a ton of items that will be up in the rmah. If anything, they just made it so that there will be less in normal playthroughs. Besides, this might also bolster the need for gold, which would in turn bolster the value and frequency of it in the rmah. Just my 2 cents...
Im so happy im installing it now! I was playing wow doing Bardin hold and i died i went afk and alt tabbed and went to facebook the question was!! what were the 3 colors that held the prime evils! i said blue yellow red xD and won!! omfg Im so friggin happy
Congratulations to you man, lucky bastard. I've been sitting on reddits livestream for about 4hs now with no luck... All these giveaways are really bearing no fruit whatsoever...
Ya, reddit stream for the giveaways was a freakin joke. What a giant waste of time! They were giving out like 10/hour for the first run, and then kept doing stupid crap after. What a giant waste of 5 hours.
I for one will not be using the RMAH. The whole notion of spending real money to obtain virtual stuff is beyond my understanding. Seems like a lot of people will use it tough, and therefore the prices will stay low, so nobody will get rich selling stuff. Only ones getting rich will be Activision shareholders
Ya...while the notion of getting "rich" may not be there...there's def a chance to make money each week, especially during the first...say 3 months or so. The fact that people will buy in game currency and gear has already been proved from past games (WoW and D2). Once I hit nightmare, I'm confident I can make 20-40/week from only 3-4 hours a day. It's simple economics.
Ya, in order for there to be a hardcore pvp system, there would need to be a low lvl cap, especially to start out, since nearly no people would be willing to sacrifice their lvl 60 toon. There would also need to be specialized pvp gear that could only be obtained from this hc pvp league.
oooohhh excellent question! I'm not sure if I would...my time is too important and I wouldn't be able to make toon after toon. Although, if there are different arenas (for different lvl ranges, like wow) then I bet we'd see a lot of like lvl 9 twinks. Which could still be cool...
I keep hoping they will suprise us with a short period between announcement and release. In the past it's been about 2 months, but with all they hype and the inherent fan base, it's not like they will get a bunch more sales for having a longer period between announcement and release!
*Sigh. At casual laptop owners not knowing what decent graphics cards are most of them with shitty 310m's or less thinking "yay i have a dedicated GPU" in reality they're marginally better than intel hd... if you expect to play a ARPG on one of those then go buy torchlight ... Least I got my Nvidia gt540m to play on the move expecting medium-high at 1366x768 . Common Blizzard i just figuired out how to submit using my card not intel hd gimmmmme Bettta.
lol those specs are very easy to meet, even for people runnin off of generic laptops. A min. of 7800gt? I lol'd. Even those with 310m's will do fine at medium/low settings. No need to flame on ppl that don't know tech much.
On a diff note, I'm looking forward to 1080fhd w/ultimate settings @60+ fps on the laptop I finished building not long ago. So excited!
Ya....it's kinda hard for you to make that presumption. Especially since I'm guessing you don't even have beta acess. The game isn't out and we have seen only a fraction of what will make up this epic journey, by no means should we base everything off of the beta.

In other news, I hope i don't break my mouse refreshing FB waiting for the next question. I was wayyyyy too close to winning on the second question.
...Here's to a 2 week wait after anouncement!
