It's intentional. We don't want a game where the most effective way to play is to dodge in and out of enemy attacks. It's not that difficult to do, and it's just not a very fun way to play.
So if dodge is now in the game and suddenly allowed "fun" does that not void Bashiok's statement and will it result in:
A: a fixed hitbox detection
B: introduction of dodge in the PC version.
C: nothing

I would recommend doing Road To Alcarnus as well. I feel that a lot of people overlook this. It's just basically over the bridge and you get 1-2 elites in no time. I normaly do Canyon, Alcarnus and Vault for essence. If you do Canyon and Alcarnus first you will have 4-5 stack and get max xp out of your Vault run as well. Only problem is that if you have a portal to Vault you have to use the waypoints not to lose it so you can restart and do it over and over.
With that in mind I have seen statements that Vault is the same density as before and is rather unchanged. Is that your impression as well?
I've seen videos of people doing MP10 bosses that last 20min + and they don't enrage. Did Zoltan and Siege on MP3 with full group yesterday and boy was it fun learn that they had enrage timer. Why not let people have fun working on uberbosses without a time limit? Did we not all agree that this was a bad mechanic and blizz removed it from the game? Apparently not....
While it is probably the worst rare I've seen, it doesn't beat the 1 prop magic items that only have reduced level requirement.
And those don't beat Lvl 60 rings that only have a socket.
Well you can at least slot them with +50 stats from gems and maybe add 100+ main stat on two rings., which is more useful than that chest piece in my opinion. Why they even made those ring and amulets is still a excellent question tho'
While grinding Act 3 with 203 magic find (incl NV) all day this awesome chest piece dropped.

I do Act I runs with 236 MF (311 with NV) and 52 GF (127 with NV). I write down how much gold I have before I start and take notes of how many rares I get and how many level 63's I find. Usually I get around 250-300k, 60+ rares and 4-7 level 63 in just over an hour.
Act 2 just does not seem to drop that much gold for me. I've tried it a bit and it just does not seem to yield similar results in rares and money. I also do some goblin runs in this act from time to time. Act 2 is my least fav. act so I guess I'm not prone to grind it too much.Will have to try it some more. Have a friend that prefers Act 2 and says it's the best. Vault of the assassin and Kulle dungeons are packed with elites. Take longer time though.
I also do Act 3 with 115 MF (190 with NV) and I normaly don't make that much gold, get a few less rares and about the same amount of level 63's. Still prefer this since it has higher level drops and is quite fun. Does not have access to instant elites as Act 1 but you still manage to get NV quite fast.
Act 4, why bother. Low elite numbers and oppressors charge off screen ftw.
I tried Act 3 Hell as well but did not make that much money and drops were even more abysmal. So I stick to Inferno. Anyway that is my summary.
