I just want the world to know, that i have a sandy, sandy, sandy, sandy vagina. And that i am outraged that i wont get this perfectly meaningless footnote attached to my account. So that i may sit in public chat channels, hoping my profile will be inspected, and have others stare jealously at an achievement called "One of the Chosen" and recognize me for the very special and cool person that i am. Thanks blizzard, you have ruined my life. I no longer see a point in living.
Welp, Skeleton King is impossible with the ~5fps I get during the encounter. Literally can't react anywhere near in time to do my thing. Fucking macbook...I seriously need to go build a PC again.
Yeah. Whenever i'm around glowy effects (fire, shadows emitting from a mob, etc.) my game starts moving in slow motion. It should get a little bit better once the final game comes out, but it would totally help to get a new computer (ohhh if only I had the $$$)
They take 10 random posts by 10 different people and give those posters each a beta key. This contest lasts 2 weeks, and there are 200 keys up for grabs
Posts must be constructive, at least 3 sentences long, and pertain to the topic on hand, add to the topic, and not a flame/troll post
As far as I can tell, posts from all sections of the board are eligible. (i.e. a post in the PvP sub-forum is just as eligible as a post in the Off-Topic sub-forum)
Obviously, the more constructive, good posts you make, the higher your chances of winning are. I believe this contest ends at the end of the month, this Wednesday, but who knows how many keys they still have left. They could even be out of the 200 by now!
I don't necessarily think that there will be cookie-cutter builds to the extent of a game like WoW. For example, the Arms Warrior waaaaaay back when was always 31/20/0, with people constantly arguing putting 2 points in spell over another. If you weren't, you were wrong.
What attracts me to this game is that you can build your class to play a certain way and still be right. Maybe it will put out less damage in certain situations compared to others, but i'm sure that other build has its own weak areas. You customize your spells to your playstyle/what looks fun, and just play. My runes are all over the place; half of them picked just because they look like they'd be cool. I'm sure i'll do some switching around once I get in the game, but that whole trial-and-error bit seems more fun to me than just having a "perfect build" handed down to me and just playing.
A DH build for PvE. I plan on playing in a group with one or two other people. I'm about 75% going DH, 25% going Wizard, depending on their choice of characters as well. I made this build because...damn, It just seems like it would fun dropping bombs and throwing knives at stuff!
Why do i get the feeling Imperius has doomed us all? The trap is sprung...
What class do you recommend for a first playthrough? <<Diablo newb
Ooof. Really puts those numbers into perspective for me. Doing dungeon runs for a super rare drop...i'm all sad now.

Still, you have two more days. GL

Wizard. Laser beams. 'Nuff said.
