I've got mine pre-purchased, driving all the way back to Louisville to pick it up. Enjoyed Diablo II so much that I decided I wanted a special copy of Diablo III

Lets say, in theory, the release date is June 11th (I just picked my birthday, this is all hypothetical).
Would you rather have the release date be announced now, knowing you'd have to wait 5 and 1/2 months for it to come out OR Have the release date announced June 1st and have to wait 10 days?
I personally would rather wait until June 1st and only have to wait 10 days. Having an official release date that is 5 months away would be brutal.
Edit: Lets make the 2nd option May 25th so that everyone has at least 2 weeks notice to put their vacation time in for work.. =)
I think I would rather have have it announced 10 days prior. As the excitement would be more intense over that short time, rather than have it diluted over a long time. I've been waiting eagerly for the game since it was announced, watching it like a hawk. What's another handful of months?

Wait.. so the wings, does anyone know if you have to actually equip them as if they were a piece of gear? Or can they just sit in your inventory slots and show up on you? Seems more logical to just have it as an option to turn them on or off whenever. Kinda like the show/hide helmet and cloak feature in WoW except without having to equip and lose out on precious stats.
Official Blizzard Quote:
The CE dyes are infinite in their use. Keep them forever, dye as much stuff as you want "Cloud" or "Smoke" colored. The colors are unique to the CE.
The wings are an item you hold in your inventory (don't take up an equipment slot on your character), and it's a toggle. Use to turn on, use again to turn off. They're awesome looking, and stack with other class effects like Shadow Power and Archon.
Thank you!

If he's died once and came back a second time and died. He's most certainly capable of dying a third time and coming back a fourth time. Although blizz can do whatever they want with the lore so if they want him gone then they'll find a way to do it I'm sure.

I would imagine that the book wasn't meant to ruin anything, probably more so to introduce the characters and a little lore to the newcomers to the series. That and just being a really cool book for the players in general.
