I sold 200 str one and without vitality for 85...this is worth much more. Vitality is not guaranteed roll so you got a jackpot there, that thing is worth at least 200 million if not more. High str roll + vita. You can surely sell it for 250 euros and if you want gold for it I would put it for 300 million with no BO and aim for auction to end around 20:00 in the evening on saturday, that's when most people are playing. So put it up around 8 in the morning on friday and sit back and watch the show.
I am not afraid about some people potentially abusing some things and getting faster levels...most of known things are nerfed to the ground already. Even if they will find some places to level up faster I don't think anyone will be level 100 within a month, not even close. And even if somehow magically they manage that in the meantime I will be farming loads of legendary items while they miss out the initial rush.
I would also like to be able to get 700% + mf but if you think about it in the long run and about item saturation...in 4-5 months or so (presumably that's when hard core players will be level 100 and that might be like 5% of the entire player base) it won't matter any more, everyone will be running around in a good gear more or less. It's now when it matters when there are new items to pick up and demand to be met. Profit to be made. Later on you can just relax and enjoy the game.
Normal MF is already capped lower then max paragon. You will stop gear swaping before level 100. Hell once you reach 200 mf which will be around 66 paragon, chance are most people wont bother gear swaping much for 50-70 mf.
282%MF with zero valor/buffs/no swapping --- But with templar
307%MF with zero valor/buffs -- and swapping one item and having a templar.
So I go over 400% with valor/buffs currently and with just swapping one weapon I already am over the MF cap of the new system.
So yea i dunno why you think the old system had a cap, it didnt.
Heya, I am in the same boat as you with my DH. My gearset is amazing with 281% MF with templar and before NV. It caps at 300 (BEFORE NV, so max of 375%) so I would be at cap at Paragon level 6...
But it isn't that bad as you think and I will explain you why. I was also bummed when I first saw it but then I realized few things. First of all, trash mobs dropping 4x more magic/rare items. That alone is already enough to discourage mf swap. Some of my best selling drops were from trash mobs since they drop at least ten 62+ per my Act 3 farm run. It's going to be 40 items now instead.
Second thing is...new legendaries and the rush that will happen first several weeks about them. People like you and me with good mf set are in prime position to get the best out of it. While mf swapers will lose a lot for not getting trash drops (most of my legendaries came from trash) and the rest will lose a lot for not getting even the small part of legendaries we will get...you and me will be the ones getting and selling a lot of them and making huge profit during the time EVERYONE wants new legendaries.
Also getting high Paragon levels will take...months. Even for dedicated players. You and I will still be able to sell our mf gear nicely while we replace piece by piece as we are getting higher Paragon levels.
All in all, as long as you rush in and you're very active for first few weeks of 1.0.4 your investment in MF gear will pay off big time.

I already changed topaz to ruby in my helm so I droped to 252% with templar. 87k dps without SS, decent hp and resistances. Rubies skyrocketed so I was fast enough to buy one as soon as news came out.
There are quite a few DH's on the official forum that farm Act 3 in full MF. It all depends on how good of a MF set you can get. Some of their MF sets are better than most players normal progression sets.

No swapping is great for few reasons. Getting some amazing drops from trash, time saving, less deaths and most important is 1.0.4 and mf change which all expect will stop people from "mf gear swap before kill".
You had pay to win in Diablo 2 as well it was just done on shady sites. It's unavoidable. What would you have them do? At least it will be easier to avoid dupes that ruined D2 and dupes existed cos of offline mode 99% of the time. And if you want to trade, buy/sell it's legal now and with easier access.
Am I happy with it? No, but I accepted that selling items is unavoidable one way or another and since I did accept it I relaxed and my D3 gaming experience is on all time high atm. You should try that.
If you check EU softcore AH for Dead Man's Legacy legendary quiver you will find two of them being absolutely the same.
Following stats
Dexterity 154
Vitality 113
Attack speed increased by 19%
Increases Hatred Regeneration by 1.07 per second
+10 Maximum Discipline
Increases Bola Shot damage by 8%
One is at 70 mil buyout and the other one is at 80 mil.
What are the odds of getting a legendary item being as good as this one (by far the best quiver I saw so far) being absolutely the same with so many different possible values?
