First of all i didn't really analize all the passives and runes for all the abilites, i picked some abilites i think will be cool and synergize well together.
The build focuses on being very tanky. Most of my runs either increase my armor, or reduce the damage i take or even the damage enemies deal. it also is made to co - op with my friend who will be playing a demon hunter - however i will not upload his abilites, since its against the rules... anyway basicly ill be the tank and using my sweeping strikes and deadly reach for spirit reg, and run around channeling tempest rush... if my friend is in dire need ill pop a inner sanctuary or cyclone strike.
My passives devote around increaseing my dodge stat by increasing another stat etc.
Hope you liked it and if you want to talk to me about it feel free to contact me here on the forums (not this thread though ^^)
Im gonna senter around being a tanky monk, and i found some nice skill runes on some of the generators. therefore in on of my builds i will use deadly reach with keen eye and sweeping wind with inner storm. I chose these two because keen eye gives 50% more armor and and inner storm gives an insane amount of spirit reg, when the vortex is maxed out.
Though if i find out im not going tank i will use exploding palm and way of the hundred fists, they just look awsome xD
but for the moment i feel monk is tanky and benefits alot from tankyness, plus i like to tank so, unless i change my mind i will be tank ^^
To be completley honest i feel monk should be on track with the 4 other classes. Monk is the class with the lowest amount of skills
they've only got 34 skills. while the mage have 40 and the barb 38(the witch doctor and demon hunter too)
To me this seems rather unfair when it comes to class customiszation so i really hope they would some more skills for the monk.
But i'd prefer if they would add them after the game comes out xD, i just want to get my hands on it TBH !
omg!
just looking at these skills, makes me want to play this game soo soo soo soo bad!! I envy the development team that get satisfaction by showing this to us! seriously taunting!
and by the way, does the graphics look alot better??? or is it just me
Maybe I am being ignorant but could someone clarify how they arrive at this theoretical 3000 skill runes? To my knowledge, previously there were 5 different runes each with 7 levels to them. That makes a total of 35 different individual item drops. Were there specific runes for each specific skill? If so why not just make each rune work for all skills and classes, and keep them as items? I think that 35 items are pretty manageable to deal with. Is there something that I am missing here?
its quite simple there are 5 runes for each skill, but there were also 7 ranks of each of those runes. thus 5X7x number of skills
First i was thinking of being a straight out of the book healer, with as much healing as possible. However reading the nerfs to breath of heaven, and how i think the game will work in general, i feel that you aren't supose to just go one path "E.G" : HEALER or DAMAGE DEALER. I think that its up to who you will be playing along side with, especially with the rune changes.
Im so excited with this change/overhaul to the rune system. Not only does it increase the flow in the game, but it makes it less of a grind to get that specific rune you allways wanted.
I also think that the average player can now save a couple of bucks from the RMAH buying runes, and now have the oppurtunity to buy awsome looking gear instead ^^
Great change!
