Yeah its true D3 and PoE need to have a baby and then we would all be happy lol
As long as PoE only gets the looks from Diablo 3.
Yeah it would be the way to go taking the looks from D3
100+ hours into PoE, I still think its a really good game. Any one that hasn't got round to trying it yet should. As for D3 its a tiny step up a very long ladder to make the game what it should be.
Best bet is to farm on MP1 Don't bother picking blues up only rares and legendarys. Then Vendor all the rares that are junk and pick up all the gold that's on the floor. I made a short guide --> http://www.diablofans.com/topic/79074-whats-worth-selling-in-the-eu-ah-for-new-players/page__p__1086186#entry1086186 a few months ago, to give you an idea of what to keep back for the AH. The basic rule is even if you only make 20k per rare it all adds up, and you will still be making gold it just takes time and some luck
Graphics are pretty good, The combat is smooth, Easy To pick up,
Lore isn't to bad, Paragon levels, Not much of a learning curve.
Cons:
Repetitive, 99% of the loot you find is worthless, Lack of Content,
To Easy to hit the level cap, AH makes it to easy to gear up, No PvP, Cookie cutter specs.
PoE:
Pros:
Insane Skill Tree, Long grind to level cap (100), No AH, No Gold as currency,
Set around a dark theme, Helpful community, Has PvP, Has Ladders,
Awesome skill design, Innovative game play, F2P, Interesting flask system.
Cons:
Slightly outdated graphics, Lack of key binds, Cant customize the UI, Not very user friendly, Steep learning curve, Group play can be a pain to setup. Loss of XP when you die.
So I tried to write down your suggestions to make myself an easy guide to go by. These are based on a dex user, please let me know if you recommend some edits.
Just had a look at the list, that seems fine. Other thing I would say is don't bother with 1H crossbows think they are all junk. You should keep your eyes open for shoulders with MF on along with the other stats that's listed. Besides MF is allays a added bonus when rolled on gear
A good idea. When I get the question I usually just tell people to save items with stats similar to what they should search for for themselves.
Thought I would try and keep it short and to the point. Otherwise the video would of been about an hour buts it is surprising how often the question comes up.
Thought I would make a quick video that acts as a basic guide of whats worth selling in the AH (Basically items that are going to sell for at least 20k gold) since I have had several people ask me is this worth selling:
The hard thing about this, is every one will have there own strategy for selling on the AH, so I have tried to make it as simple as possible as a beginners guide so they can start to learn the market.
I guess it does take a while to learn the markets on Diablo and some of it is down to trial and error if any one has any other basic selling tips then I would be pleased to hear them.
Looks like the enrage timer for Kulle and siege is right Had another Run on MP7 and sure enough Kulle teleported to each of us and 1 shot-ed us didnt seem to notice the enrage on the others still seems a bit buggy.
Which uber bosses did you fight for 10 mins? They should all have 8 minutes enrage timer, but there are different results for the encounters' difficulty.
-Ghom just farts more poison clouds; however, Rakanoth will (just like on normal) instantly kill you after 8 minutes
-Magdha and Leoric have more damage output and use their skills more often afaik, however, the bigger threat here is definitely Leoric with his WW attacks
-Kulle's enrage lets the ceiling collapse at a rate which is almost impossible to survive. He should be killed before the 8 minutes timer and besides Rakanoth he's the only "fixed enrage" that will kill you. Siegebreaker will drain your life - but my DH friends told me that there's some range to it (so it's not simply more damage reflect) and they can stand "out of range". So if you have a decent tank, Siegebreaker's enrage should be no problem (however, it's not just one enrage but the life drain increases over time, so there's a limit)
Not completely sure on all of these; there was a similar discussion on another forum and this is just what I remembered. Haven't come close to the enrage timer recently, so if anyone has an update/correction it would be interesting to know.
Was Magdha and Leoric I thought the enrage timer would have started as soon as the cinematic is skipped and you would get the little skull and bones icon above your head that apply a very nasty DOT for all 3 uber bosses.
This got me thinking the other day, when me and some friends were farming Uber Bosses they didnt seem to have an enrage timer Have I missed a blue post about this The fight went on for just over 10 mins before we killed them.
From what I can remember when I was testing them out on the PTR, they had an 8 minute enrage timer witch leads me to one of three conclusions:
A. They have removed the enrage timer.
B. It has been increased to longer than 8 mins or this case 10
C. Its some type of bug
If you have any light to shed on this subject then ill be please to hear about it
Yeah I think the pony level is worth it, I use it to boost myself or others, the XP is crazy at MP10 on Hell when they have only just hit 50 or Nightmare at 30 etc etc.
I think that there will be a decline in public games hosted since most people will be paying pubic to either progress, or have a really laid back game. However with that said you will see more people using general chat to make a PUG so they can take advantage of the new MP system. I'm not sure what MP level I will play, maybe MP1 for Farming and MP3 for Key runs.
I think one of the main Issues with the new MP system is going to be that people will have to use general or trade chat to make a PUG (if they don't want to solo) to farm uber bosses. Witch will cause some problems, due to the 8 minute enrage timer they all have AKA a DPS check.
That's the only thing that puts me off the new system, it seems like the old days of wow, with gearscore, no doubt this will end up bringing out those elitist jerks even doh it will be needed to an extent to get the kill. But, people will still be asking for a silly amount of DPS to get an easy result.
Its a shame Blizzard couldn't make a matchmaking system based on your ilvl, DPS, or some other factor. Almost like creating a LFG tool. Would make it a lot easier.
