You can also do Act 1 on MP1 with your gear. Turning it to MP1 makes it drop the same level gear as Act 3-4 on MP0 but the mobs are generally easier. If you want some quick gold, buy a radiant star emerald from the RMAH for about $1.40 and sell it for about 24-25m gold. With that, you can get plenty of gear to get you in the 100k damage range and enough defense to farm MP3 for gear if you choose. If you want to do paragon leveling, Act 3 MP1 is the best.
Edit: Forgot to mention about what gear to choose. Search youtube for budget monk gear and builds, that will help you figure out what stats and what legendaries you want to aim for.
I run only MF gear and have 340% with a 5 stack. Since the patch, I've found 1 legendary 2h sword that was only worth the fiery brimstone. I've done act 1 speed runs, Act 2 full clear, and a few act 3 seigebreaker runs. The RNG is not strong with me is all. Best thing I've found since patch was an 800 dmg spear with really good stats that sold for $60 on the RMAH. Other than that, nothing worth more than 1mil.
Also in the no legendary club. Since launch, I've had 1 out of the 5 that I've had drop that was worth selling. Thankfully it was worth 35 million. But since I started running all MF gear and not just swapping, I still have yet to see a legendary. It's just luck of the draw, and my luck is very bad so far.
I know it's your first video and all, but if you want to get some more subscribers then I'd suggest planning out your topics and not jump around so much. You went from topic to topic, back and forth, etc. You also say, "umm, yeah" and "uhhh" a lot. It's common for people that don't dictate or narrate very often. Type out a few discussion points and then elaborate on them. This will help your thought flow and eliminate some a lot of those pauses.
You brought up a lot of valid points and explained things decently, just work on your presentation.
I got a 1H spear last night that was really good. I don't have the screenshot since I didn't think it'd sell so quickly, but these were the stats:
806 Damage
232 Intelligence
80 Vitality
3% life steal
56% Critical hit damage
Open socket
I saw a similar one without Vitality listed for 25 million so I figured I'd try the RMAH. I listed with $25 bid and $60 buy it now. It sold overnight, I'm hoping that I didn't miss out on bigger profit. Since gold is about $1 per million, I thought $60 was kind of steep since that's 60 million.
Looks like people have already gotten to Paragon level 2 within 2-3 hours, so 10mil+ exp per hour is very plausible. Average 13mil for 1-100 would require 804 hours, 268 days at 3 hours per day of straight up grinding exp.
The good news is that its easy to get to 200 MF and still retain high damage. Which means you'll only need Paragon 34, which is only 105 hours at 13m/h, 150 hours at 7m/h.
the molten graphics on the ground are different to
seems like they removed the acient path golbin in act 2 as well
Ancient path goblin removed, pretty much confirmed. I ran it 30+ times and didn't see one. Before my longest stretch w/o a goblin was 12. RNG is RNG, but other are reporting this as well on the main forums. How hard is it to add "and Ancient Path" to the patch notes instead of making us find out the hard way?
On a side note, I did a CTRL + F to find if anyone had posted about the "ancient path" or "goblin" in this thread already. Seeing as there were no matches, I skimmed through the posts to see other changes and came across yours, with both words misspelled! This is why spelling is important! To save us from reposts from not finding the topic with a search! Hehe.
The only reason I think the 322m experience is "total exp required" for level 100 is because that's how all Blizzard experience systems work. So I assume they didn't change it. (Meaning not 99-100, but 1-100)
Doing some math, I'm starting to lean towards that table being experience required per level. Not the cumulative experience required to get to that level. If that was the case, it's only 7.2m for the first level, then 1.44m per level up until 60. After that, it's 2.88m per level until 70, 5.04m until 80, 6.48m through 90, and 8.6m to 100. Averaging 6m exp per hour, it would only take 53.76 hours to get to 100. That's not quite the hundreds and hundreds of hours that Jay was referring to. Even if you lowball it at 4m per hour, that's only 80.64 hours to 100.
I made a spreadsheet to show a curve of experience per hour and total time needed. You can get the summarized data here and the full detail ">here.
Basically I used 4m exp per hour average for levels 1-20 and increased it by 2m per hour every 20 levels. So by level 81-100, it's 12 mil exp per hour. Who knows what the best possible experience run will end up being, but this is just to give an idea. Using this average experiencing per hour curve every 20 levels, it would take you 566 days if you played 2 hours per day to reach level 100. 3h/d would be 377 days, 4h/d is 283, etc. At best, if you could average 12mil per hour all the way through 100 from the start and played 8 hours a day, it'd take 109 days, or 871 hours. Who knows though, maybe with good +exp gear, a 5 stack, and a very efficient run, we'll get up to 25m+ exp per hour.
Also, I think the front post is pretty clear how the exp values should be interpreted, they even mention the 10m estimate. Also going from 59 to 60 was 2.4m, I remember that. So every entry give the amount of exp needed to go from the previous level to the next... this is also pretty standard
The 1-100 Paragon level data is from what has been data mined from the patch files. The 51-60 data was probably collected from in game at some point. The fact that they're being displayed in the same format doesn't mean they're representing the data the same way.
We've increased the maximum stack size of gold per listing from 100,000 to 1,000,000. The current minimum listing price will remain the same per stack.
Not sure if I understand this correctly... does that mean 1mil = 0,25€?
That's the way I read it too. Guess we will find out tomorrow.
Last week of August, which this patch is slated for, is next week. So most likely we'll find out in 8 days.

If it is only 322 million to reach level 100 and not 10 billion, then we'll probably see someone hit it within 1-2 weeks.
Can you compare the data this is derived from to how the experience per level is stored for 1-60?
