I'm kind of certain that the monk passive "one with everything", While piling on HEAPS of resistances, does not get taken into consideration with the new toughness tooltips.
I think it does. Enable it and my toughness goes up, disable it then it goes down.
Is anyone else having an issue with their profile on battle.net not displaying correct stats?
My profile shows all my gear but the damage and toughness are way off. Damage is off by 50k and toughness is off by 500k. The dex and vit totals are off too.
thanks. that looks like what i was getting in game. so i plugged in the stats from a Skorn being used by a top end monk (Tokio) and i would only see a modest (~8k) dps gain if i were to spend hundreds of millions. guess i will stick to my dual wielding!
I've been thinking of picking up a Skorn just to mix it up every once in a while since I see some top end monks using them.
I use D3up.com for all my comparison needs. When I equip a skorn i've had for awhile (1370dps, 301 dex, 259 total CD), d3up shows i will get a massive dps increase (40k+) and when i hover over it in my stash in game it also shows what will be a massive increase. However when i actually equip it then i lose dps. so my question is, how would i go about getting an accurate preview of my damage with a skorn so i don't spend all sorts of gold on one only to be dissappointed when it doesn't increase anything? on d3up i've tried un-equipping my offhand and then equipping the skorn but it still isn't right.
wow 109 fire resist on that chest. never seen a resist that high. nice monk, well balanced too. I would say your life is low but that is with an experience gem in the helm, even with that i am guessing your high resist armor and LS make you regen quite nicely anyways. I just looked on the AH (US, i know you are EU) you could get the same chest with a 3rd socket for dirt cheap (under 3m). Sorry about the only advice i can offer without getting into ridiculous gold amounts.
I've got a Butcher's Sickle equipped and an EF in my stash so I will test out the combination and see. Based on the proc rate I am seeing with the Sickle and how often I saw stuff running away with the EF, I don't think the Sickle will offset the EF but hopefully I am wrong. It doesn't seem to me that it really procs 25% of the time so I think there is a cooldown on it.
The run continues....found 4 more legendaries in one run. Skorn, Hellrack, Tzo Krin's Gaze and Star of Azkaranth. It's always nice to get a Skorn even though the rest are crap. Since most legendaries will still roll badly, it is nice to get more of them and hope you stumble on a good one.
yeah, i've had sick luck. Doing Act 1 MP2-3 so mid 300s MF. Found those 3 in one run and found another 2 (tasker and theo, lacunis) in 2 other runs. 3 act 1 runs (not full clear), 5 legendaries. Before the patch I was getting one every 25-30 hours so maybe just the RNG gods trying to even it up.
Yeah, if this was real life then the print more money thing would just collapse the economy and every one would be hosed. But this is a game, a game that is supposed to be fun. And a game about loot means good loot equals fun. After 400 hours invested and literally ONE legendary item that was worth anything my bitterness has progressed to the point where whatever increases my odds I will welcome even at the 'cost' of harming the AH economy.
I think what several people on here have said is right. The uber elite gear will still be outrageous and out of reach for a player like me but at least the flood of items will make the mid-tier viable for more of us.
You are right, I am sure I have underpriced items on the AH and lost some money there. At the same time I am not completely lost and do have a good sense of what is good and what is not.

waiting on better prices to upgrade a few gems.
8 today, breaking my previous high of 2 lol.
On the same run I also got:
and a useless Tormentor. Never had more than one leg in a run and I got 3 on my 2nd post 1.05 run. Woot for double rates!
