Hmm, looks like they may have intentionally leaked a release year!

Oh dude, you're totally right. If I can save up like $3,000, I can get a hella nice comp... my comp is a hunk of crap. It's basically the Paul Giamatti of computers...
Haha, in a week the only computer I'll own is a 4 year old tablet laptop. can't wait to buy an i7 setup in a year or so! (or, most likely, a phenom II 965 setup :p)
Not too big of a deal for me. The longer we wait, the more time I have to find a job and get an epic computer to play Diablo III on! triple 30" screens... mmmm
"Heh, if people think there isn't enough gore... you ain't seen nothing yet. This is Sanctuary. Demons and evil cults still really like torture and putting bodies on pikes."
That'll hopefully shut all the whiners up. That made me not come here as often. "zomgz, in diablo II there were corpses with blood in the catacombzz! Why not in diablo 3!?!?" Noone ever listened to the reason being that it's in alpha state and that we've only seen 1 dungeon. Did the arcane sanctuary have mutilated corpses that had signs of torture? Not as I recall.
Lol. I tried to buy a ticket too. Me and my friend didn't freakin' get it. We were spamming F5 desperately and still missed it =/........DAMN. Maybe next year XD.
That's probably why you didn't get one. You're not supposed to spam f5, just wait in the queue.
Their company name reminds me of that video from ~4 years ago of the black dude that pulled his bawlz from the posterior of a woman, and yelled "BOOYAH!"
Problem with overclocking on a PSU without abundant power is the integrity of the supplied voltages. No steady voltage, no stable overclocks.
As for the video card, I personally would look at 4850's and 4870's. I have a 4870 and it's rock solid and will handily take care of Diablo 3. If you're dead set on Nvidia chips, go with a 260, but then I would say you would need a mandatory PSU upgrade.
I honestly would hole off a month and build then. I just wouldn't be satisfied with that system,
9800gtx+ (gts 250) beats out the 4850 in most games that i'm planning on playing. 260 is ~$210 and and on a budget if you have read. Also if you had read, I'm building it in June not now, and there will be multiple new cards in the ~$100 area that should be sufficient. Also as I've said 3 times the graphics card choice is up in the air. Sorry for the rudeness but usually your are more constructive with your posts. I expected more from you, GG
By the time Diablo 3 comes out, will he be regretting getting a machine now?
By then I would have suffered a heart attack from getting angry at my extremely slow computer.
That's the way the hardware industry works; you buy new stuff, and in 3 months it becomes obsolete. No matter what there will always be better stuff in the near future. But you gotta get the best bang for your buck, and with amd's Phenom II's, they seem to get it just right. The video card is still up in the air ATM, though. Was actually thinking of overclocking it a tad, since it's the most effective and easiest boost to performance. But I could also save $60 by getting a 710 and a motherboard with a chipset that isn't as helpful to overclocking. Not sure.
Also, Newegg is running a weekend deal where they upped the price of the antec 300 by $5, but added free shipping. I didn't check before, but does anyone know the usual cost of shipping it? Would it be a good idea to take advantage of this deal and buy the case now?

I won't mind if it goes to consoles, as it'll just be a bad port for them, and after all the bad ports PC users get, they deserve it.
sofawall ... I remember you!

edit: 1700!?! Damn dell overcharges so much, heh. But yeah, it should get the job done for you, I'm sure you'll be happy with it =)
