THE BETA! Its so obvious. Blizz will maintain its epicness about 28th june and the diablo series, but ofc the game wont be ready to release on 28th june. Dont you guys agree?
I will be so disappointed if the game isn't released by the beginning of January.
Are you sure it's his TRUE form in Diablo III? I've read The Lord of Terror (Diablo) has no actual form. He has the ability to form into whatever he sees is the most terrifying shape for his adversary. Filling his enemy's with his strongest weapon... Terror.
Damn ... So if I understood well, it probably will be anyway, we can not put our char on BNET, that bad. and we have to create 2 chars, one online and one offline? is it? This is totally stupid. :yucky:
I do not know if you guys know the game the settlers 7 you necessarily need to have a connection to play ... or as my friend spoke up on Bnet need to login periodically to "update" your character, something like that. today it is easy for a company like bliz make this type of procedure. regardless of how it will be, I just wish could play with my char both offline and online ... it's more fun have company, trade items, build a strategy for killing certain boss...I do not know if I could make you guys understand my feeling..
You don't HAVE to make an offline character. You can just play a game on your BNET character with a password on the server. You don't always have to play with friends on BNET.
This is like the warning on hair dryers about not using it underwater or some crap like that.
My point is they really need to stop giving a damn about that kind of things. Build up some common sense, otherwise let common sense strike them in the face a few time and they will learn like we all do. Or not. Still not a reason to care.
And MY point was, that there ARE people that are dumb enough to put hair dryers in water. And they want people to keep using their hair dryers... Or in Blizzards case, play their games..
Not giving a dam wouldn't make them Blizzard. These things are done for a reason and, well, not everyone on this rock we call Earth HAS common sense. Haha. They wanna sell to the intellectuality challenged as well.
There is offline single player, but it's something we're going to attempt to discourage as best as possible.
A lot of us, myself included, and probably a lot of you and your friends had the exact same Diablo II experience. You get the game, start playing, your friend says let's try co-op, and when you log in your characters aren't there. After a slight freakout moment and potentially some use of Webcrawler to search the World Wide Web with Netscape 6, you realized or figured out that you had to start over. That's actually an experience that can cause someone to stop playing the game. Maybe you or I let out a huge sigh, and maybe a brief mourning period after realizing the last 60 hours were completely wasted, but we pressed on. That's not the case for everyone. Maybe most people. I actually refused to start over for a while and continued on in single-player before finally jumping on Battle.net. Who knows what a lesser man would have done...
So, if we can get people online and creating character on Battle.net from the get-go, there's less chance of that catastrophe. But there's still a play offline option, if you should need it.
A little notice in very small font saying... "Remember, offline characters are unable to log into Battle.net, preventing you from playing co-op and PvP."
... SHOULD do the trick. But some people just don't understand I suppose.
I think the skill is actually going to be quite good and will deal out massive amount of damage ANYWAYS, without having to have a penalty.
I guess it's an interesting idea, but I don't think you should get any negative response from a skill you use in a fast paced action game such as Diablo III. Just doesn't fit to me.
I mean, it would make sense if a Wizard got its hands burnt from throwing fireballs around, but it just isn't practical (lol) in a fantasy type of game such as this. I dunno.

Which isn't IMO so terrifying. But he DOES now resemble his two brothers. So there is a nice chance it's his TRUE (lol) form.
