Kite them to an geographical area where you can keep the entire pack on one side of you. Then keep attacking on the one closest to you. As the others try to advance and get around you (to trap you in their fiery pit of death) retreat back and continue attacking the closest one. When/if they get around you or any one gets below 50%, pop Serenity/Blinding Flash to burn that one down. Then rinse/repeat.
I normally use Blinding Flash, Heal (at 50% health), Serenity (at 25% health) for my cooldowns in that order.

NV is fine. I feel like it's a feature that's actually working quite well. The only problem with it is that they reduced elite pack spawns so you waste more time searching for that 5th pack to get max NV stack. Otherwise, NV is great.

Started out Arcane but I got two huge upgrades that both had Physical so now's it's Physical. Problem is, I'll need to figure out a replacement for my head slot since that's still Arcane.

I used to have a similar build with 45K health unbuffed and it fails. I tried everything I could to keep a DW going into Inferno but it's far too gear dependent to work.
Beyond that, we have so much Dex that our passive dodge is huge to begin with. You start getting diminishing returns on Dodge abilities quickly.
Also, LOL at Beacon of Ytar.

Meh, I understand it's purpose but I don't like it. Sometimes I like to play through, other times I like to farm an area. This prevents me from doing that.
It's for the "greater good" and all but lame nonetheless.

The AH isn't a necessity but I wouldn't recommend wasting too much of your time trying to play "vanilla" and avoid the AH. People unload gear on there for nothing. You could gear a lvl 50 from head to toe in Rare items for 25K gold total (except for rings and ammy.) 25K gold = 1 hour of gold drops. It's really a no-brainer.
My playstyle is to work through the game, getting a bunch of levels at a time, then going to the AH and upgrading my crappiest one or two items.. rinse and repeat. this keeps the game challenging without slowing me down too much.
I also don't equip or purchase any item unless it has both dex and vit. The monk is never going to be a min/max class so I don't kid myself in trying to make it one.

The wierd thing is my computer can get into a "state" where the game will work for days. But I have no idea how to do that. I can restart a million times - eventually it might just work. The last time it worked, my monitor stopped going to sleep but the game played great.
Live client hasn't be out long enough for you to say "the game will work for days"
I was in the beta.

I have extreme artifacting with Geforce GTS450. It is so bad that I cannot even walk down Overlook Road before the game is unplayable. I have tried the last 2 release drivers and the beta driver - no luck. Messed with settings in nVidia Control Panel - no luck.

2 Legendary (both crap)
2 BS Recipes (both crap)
About 75 hours played.
I also use no gear that I farmed myself. Everything comes from the AH.
